From a customers' review(there are only 2): "It would not surprise me that the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy was really behind Air America in a bid to drive frazzled liberals to suicides or just extremely-debilitating strokes. The panic and overkill in Al Franken and Randi Rhodes' "comedy" was hilarious in ways I don't think they intended. Now that Air America has filed for banruptcy and is over $20 million in debt, I wonder if the VRWC is pulling the plug on this diabolical black op a tad too early. "

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — With the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina behind him and the task of rebuilding New Orleans' shattered economy just beginning, Mayor Ray Nagin will lead a two-day pitch to New York's investment community designed to bring much-needed business to the storm-devastated city. The delegation of business and public sector leaders will spend Friday and Saturday at a theater in lower west side Manhattan, touting city and federal tax breaks for investment, encouraging filmmakers to return to the city and seeking commercial sponsors for next year's Mardi Gras, an idea that didn't take off in 2006 as...

April 14, 2006— Soaring gas prices are squeezing most Americans at the pump, but at least one man isn't complaining. Last year, Exxon made the biggest profit of any company ever, $36 billion, and its retiring chairman appears to be reaping the benefits. Exxon is giving Lee Raymond one of the most generous retirement packages in history, nearly $400 million, including pension, stock options and other perks, such as a $1 million consulting deal, two years of home security, personal security, a car and driver, and use of a corporate jet for professional purposes. Last November, when he was still...

QUINCY - The Bush administration is as slow to respond to a host of pressing demands on the nation’s economy as it was in responding to Hurricane Katrina last year, Sen. John Kerry told a breakfast meeting of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce today. ‘‘Katrina underscores lack of preparation, unpreparedness, despite all the warnings,’’ Kerry told a group gathered at the Quincy Marriott Hotel. ‘‘Katrina stripped away the confidence, the veneer that had cloaked this administration for a period of time, and people began to see a whole series of choices that have been wrong.’’ Kerry praised South Shore...

Nearly four decades after he filled the Astrodome for a pair of championship fights, then relinquished his heavyweight boxing title by placing principles ahead of profession, Muhammad Ali will return to Houston next Tuesday to throw out the first pitch for the All-Star Game at Minute Maid Park. Ali's selection was disclosed Wednesday by Ed Goren, the president of Fox Sports, which will broadcast the game Tuesday night. "It should be one of the most historic moments fans will ever see at an All-Star Game," Goren said. This will not be the first time Ali has participated in the opening...

ORCHARDS, Wash. -- If you want to work with cops -- you might want to sober up before applying. Authorities in Orchards said Robert Gulley stopped by state patrol headquarters to pick up an application. According to Trooper Maureen Crandall, Gulley smelled of booze, was slurring his words and had glassy eyes. The unemployed radio technician was ticketed for alleged drunken driving as he drove away from the patrol office. Gulley told the Columbian newspaper he picked a bad time to pick up his police application.

Folks, this just ain't the Democrats Year! This happened last Monday before Sammy's mistake! Print this off and send it to your friends! SPEECH OF HON. CHARLES B. RANGEL OF NEW YORK IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2003 Mr. RANGEL. Mr. Speaker, I rise in support of H. Res. 195, a resolution to congratulate Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs for hitting 500 major league home runs. There is no doubt that Mr. Sosa's exploits on the baseball diamond will one day earn him a place in Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. There...

Because the DNC (aka the RATS) is soliciting birthday greetings for the Aug 19 birthday (No. 56) of the perjuring rapist traitor they put into the White House, I thought it was necessary to bring back the words of Virginia Kelley just before she died. This is sort of a deathbed confession done with her lyrics and a MIDI file. She realized what she did to this country. She did to this country what was done to her in the back seat of that Chevy. Virginia, we will never forgive you, but at least I like your style on...
