A former congressman is taking a slow journey back to Washington DC. Not to run for office, but to walk there, raising awareness about the treatment of veterans and their families. Kerry Bentivolio says it is time for lawmakers to do something. The 64-year-old Bentivolio is a veteran of two wars and says the numbers are ridiculous. About 300,000 veterans likely died while waiting for health care and nearly twice as many are still waiting for treatment. The average Vietnam veteran dies in their 60s, while the average World War II vet is living well into their 80s.
