A Democratic mayor in Florida was arrested and charged with three counts of voter fraud, punishable by up to five years in prison. Anthony DeFillipo, mayor of North Miami Beach, was charged with three third-degrees felonies for allegedly voting illegally in three elections. He's the third mayor of that city to be arrested in 11 years. DeFillipo didn't even live in his city, violating the city charter, but he drove to North Miami Beach to vote three times, in August, October, and November, according to the Miami Herald. About a year ago, I served on the jury on the murder case of Michael Hodges. Hodges was killed when he was confronted by an individual that also lived in the same set of housing projects on the West Side of Chicago. It's been so long that I have to confess that I can't remember the name of the suspect. Two eye witnesses testified and each gave near exactly the same version of the crime. That was the center piece of the evidence against the defendent and the jury ultimately came back with a guilty verdict. The case was gruesome....
