A Democratic mayor in Florida was arrested and charged with three counts of voter fraud, punishable by up to five years in prison.
Anthony DeFillipo, mayor of North Miami Beach, was charged with three third-degrees felonies for allegedly voting illegally in three elections. He's the third mayor of that city to be arrested in 11 years.
DeFillipo didn't even live in his city, violating the city charter, but he drove to North Miami Beach to vote three times, in August, October, and November, according to the Miami Herald. He reportedly lives in neighboring Davie, where he was recorded in cell phone data driving from home to vote in North Miami Beach.

There is in fact a crime against the very fabric of our Republic. Tampering with election results must be a capital crime punished with death within say 6 months of the criminal act

I think most people realize there is massive voter fraud going on around the country.
The question has always been how it is dealt with. At least in this case the guy was investigated and now arrested, someone had to turn him in, and someone had to greenlight an investigation, which are all good things.
The real problem is in many places around the country, things that were once illegal have now become legal.
I keep bringing up vote harvesting, which was illegal everywhere, now it’s legal in many places, technically it’s not cheating anymore.

There needs to be guaranteed jail time for voter fraud. Not community service, nor a fine, or even probation. No matter how big or small (any fraud is too much) some time in jail should be required. It is theft from the people of the right to choose their representatives.

North Miami, otherwise known as Little Haiti, has a decades-long history of corruption. When a mayor in North Miami survives his or her term without being indicted, you know something is wrong.
This is North Miami *Beach*.
Not a lot of difference between them politically or demographically, but it’s definitely preferable to North Miami.
AFTER EVERY CLOSE ELECTION PEOPLE NEED TO CANVASS PRECINCTS WITH LARGE PERCENTAGES OF MINORITY VOTERS TO MAKE SURE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO 'VETOED' REALLY DID VOTE.
