This race is over. Even while Broward and Palm Beach Counties continue with their mandatory recount, incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is still trailing Republican Gov. Rick Scott by 12,000 votes. Barring a miracle, or massive voter fraud, there’s no way he’s going to win. Even CNN admits this: Democrats hope a manual recount will overturn the results of Florida's Senate election and pave the wave for Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson to keep his Senate seat.Appearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer projected confidence about Nelson's chances."Bill Nelson is -- is strong as could be," Schumer said....

TALLAHASSEE — A federal court judge on Thursday ruled that thousands of voters whose votes weren’t counted because of issues with their signatures on their mail-in or provisional ballots have two more days to challenge the decision to reject their votes. The order from U.S. District Court judge Mark Walker came hours before a 3 p.m. deadline for counties to report the results of a machine recount for the U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner contests, throwing more uncertainty over a process that faces a spate of legal challenges...[snip]..... FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump sought to intervene in Florida’s legally mandated vote recount Tuesday, calling on the state’s Democratic senator to admit defeat and again implying without evidence that officials in two pivotal counties are trying to steal the election.“When will Bill Nelson concede in Florida?” Trump said in a morning tweet. “The characters running Broward and Palm Beach voting will not be able to ‘find’ enough votes, too much spotlight on them now!” There have been bumps as Florida undergoes recounts for both the governor and Senate races. Palm Beach County said it won’t finish...

By noon on Monday, Miami-Dade managed to recount about half of the more than 800,000 votes cast in the 2018 election. Broward County had not yet started its state-mandated recount. The stark contrast in pace from Florida’s two largest sources of ballots highlights the pressure facing Broward as it tries to meet a Thursday afternoon deadline to recount the more than 700,000 votes cast in the largely Democratic county.

NASSAU COUNTY BALLOTS IN STORAGE. FILE PHOTO. Nassau County Democrats are reporting that Sunday’s recount of votes by the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections is finished and there were “zero percentage changes” in the vote totals. A manual recount of the over and under votes, if ordered, will occur later this week.” According to Florida Election laws, in the event the recount shows the vote margin is less than or equal to 0.25% , a manual recount is required. The manual recount applies only for ballots sorted by the automatic tabulating equipment showing undervotes or overvotes.

Florida Republican Senate candidate Rick Scott on Sunday directly accused his Democratic opponent, incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson, of being a "sore loser" who is "clearly trying to commit fraud to win this election," as recounts commenced in the state's tight gubernatorial and Senate contests. Speaking to "Fox News Sunday," Scott's comments marked a significant escalation of his rhetoric against Nelson, just days after he filed two bombshell lawsuits against election officials in two Democratic strongholds in Florida and flagged them for engaging in potentially "rampant fraud."

Lawyers for Florida Democratic candidates Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson both fought to prevent a non-citizen’s vote from being excluded Friday night, according to a transcript of a Palm Beach County Canvassing Board proceeding obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Palm Beach County transcript: Michael Barnett, chairman of the Palm Beach Republican Party, told TheDCNF that the county’s canvassing board was going through provisional ballots and quickly deciding whether to allow or disallow each. This exchange is of the first non-citizen’s vote they encountered. “We had a court reporter that we hired to sit in the proceedings, which are...

Two organizations financed by billionaire liberal activist George Soros have threatened to take Florida Gov. Rick Scott to court if he doesn’t recuse himself from the state’s recount, which includes his own Senatorial election. “Please issue a public statement that you will recuse yourself and remove yourself from any oversight of the 2018 election immediately or we will have no choice but to seek a formal emergency remedy from the courts,” reads a letter sent to Scott by the two groups, the League of Women Voters and Common Cause. The letter claims Scott “intentionally politicized governance of the elections” when...

The establishment media is dismissing the election scandal in Florida as a conservative conspiracy theory, but the evidence indicates something strange is afoot. Republican Governor Rick Scott beat incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson for the state’s open Senate seat, but days after the election, election supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach counties were still adding votes to the tally. he supervisors refused to share where the additional ballots were coming from and how many were left to count, leading Republicans in the state to cry foul. The media swiftly rebuked Republican concerns of potential fraud or misconduct as “conspiracy theories”...

Democratic candidates Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum have their own team of attorneys watching the canvassing board closely, looking for anything that could change the result of the elections and snatch the Senate and Gubernatorial wins from exiting Governor Rick Scott and newly elected Governor Ron DeSantis. Apparently, that includes counting non-U.S. citizens’ votes.

Is it on purpose? Is it bad luck? Or is it that she’s just terrible at her job? The courts have reprimanded Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes on multiple occasions for veering outside of state laws when it comes to her Election Day operations. She’s sent ballots with duplicate pages, left off a ballot initiative completely, which prompted a lawsuit, and she illegally destroyed congressional ballots in 2016 (via Miami Herald): Even beyond her own reprimand for authorizing the destruction of ballots, Snipes cannot deny the department’s patchy track record. In 2016, early voting results for Broward were posted...

All counties have completely reported everything except overseas and military ballots. https://floridaelectionwatch.gov/CountyReportingStatus There aren't any more ballots in Broward or Palm Beach. As I predicted in another thread, Scott holds a 12.5K lead. No recount ever, anywhere, in history has overturned a lead of that magnitude. The largest change in votes in a recount previously was Gore's attempted theft of Florida in 2000, and even with all the shenanigans and hanging chads, he only managed to turn about 1200 votes. This is 10x that number for Scott and nearly 30x that number for DeSantis.

Marc Caputo, the co-author of Politico‘s Florida Playbook, said Friday that the election practices in Broward County, Florida are "nonsensical" as the county faces widespread scrutiny for its handling of ballots in the 2018 midterm elections. Caputo appeared on MSNBC's "MTP Daily," where host Chuck Todd asked the Politico reporter whether he knows how many ballots need to be counted in Broward County. "No, we don't, and in fact, a Miami Herald reporter just tweeted about an hour ago that, ‘Hey, we were told yesterday about all the early in-person votes had been tallied,' and then they found out today,...

Broward’s elections supervisor accidentally mixed more than a dozen rejected ballots with nearly 200 valid ones, a circumstance that is unlikely to help Brenda Snipes push back against Republican allegations of incompetence. The mistake — for which no one had a solution Friday night — was discovered after Snipes agreed to present 205 provisional ballots to the Broward County canvassing board for inspection. She had initially intended to handle the ballots administratively, but agreed to present them to the canvassing board after Republican attorneys objected. “We have found no clear authority controlling the situation faced by the board,” said Broward...

It sure looks like Democrats are trying to steal a U.S. Senate election in Florida. First, some background on what's happening from Matt:  Something odd is occurring in Florida’s Senate race. Republican Gov. Rick Scott has declared victory over incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. At the time, Scott led Nelson by a little over 34,500 votes. It’s now been cut to around 18,000. We’re heading into recount territory, as Scott’s lead has dwindled to 0.2 percent; less than half of one percent triggers an automatic recount. Yet, in two Democratic bastions—Palm Beach and Broward counties—they’re taking their sweet time counting...

The Florida Senate race is rapidly becoming a clown show. It’s been over two days and Broward County, the largest Democratic bastion in the state, is still counting ballots. Counties slammed by Hurricane Michael last month have all tallied their votes. Broward seems unable to do so, or say how many are left outstanding. Broward Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes seems to struggle answering basic questions about this process, even ones required by law. So far, there have been no regular updates. Instead, they’re dumping vote totals by the thousands, which has chipped away at Republican Gov. Rick Scott’s lead over...

Governor Rick Scott delivered a blistering report Thursday on the offices of supervisors of elections in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Addressing the media in front of the governor's mansion, Scott said there could be "rampant fraud" in the election practices of the two counties. Scott said at the end of election night, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office said 634,000 votes had been cast. By 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the office reported 712,040 ballots counted with an unknown number of ballots remaining. Scott said his office has filed a lawsuit and is asking the Florida Department of Law Enforcement...
