Does anyone know of a GOOD search engine? I want to get off of Google for many reasons -- I don't care about tracking since I anonymize but when they stopped linking direct URLs to images that was the last straw. But Yahoo (I know almost as as bad) mostly returns other search engine results -- Google is much better at listing direct results. Alta Vista and Dogpile (am I old?) also disappoint. Started using the "Brave" browser today after downloading and setting it up last night. Browser was written by the programmer who wrote Firefox but who was later forced out at Mozilla by the queers, freaks and perverts for supporting traditional marriage. Browser blocks all ads and popups which makes browsing quick and efficient again. Not a lot of instructions but most of the setup mirrors Firefox or is intuitive. Can be obtained free from WWW.Brave.com

Firefox has gone nuts by rejecting the certificates from many legitimate websites including YouTube and Gmail. The instructions say to go to Advanced and create an exception for each website. This is still a problem because some websites cannot be added and others only last for one time only. I have been to the Settings tab and there is no security setting that I can find that addresses this issue. IE doesn't have this issue at all, just Firefox. Thanks for any suggestions? If a coffee establishment tells their baristas to engage with me about race when I'm trying to get my morning triple venti soy latte, then I go elsewhere. If one of my favorite conservative-leaning talk show hosts starts supporting a liberal for President, then I turn the dial. It's not that I keep a list, but if it's seared into my brain deep enough, then I certainly alter my habits as a consumer of products, services, and content. Conversely, if someone is under attack by Marxists, then I tend to overly support them, like the Chick-Fil-A scenario, where I was stuffing my face with spicy chicken sandwiches several times per week for months. Please help. I keep hearing folks on Free Republic talk about sidebars and other features, which for the life of me, I was not seeing. I use Chrome. I got the idea to go to Internet Explorer, and pulled up Freerepublic. Sure enough, I can see all the sidebars. Does this mean I have to switch over to IE to properly view FreeRepublic? I can't stand IE and realy prefer Chrome. Thanks for any input.
