Greta Van Susteren reported that a Delta pilot enroute to Salt Lake City was lazed in the cockpit this last Wednesday. Only country I know that has that hardware (for lazing bomber pilots) was the Soviet Union. Pilot reportedly required medical treatment and this was not a minor injury (weak laser) wound. More will come out to tomorrow as this story hits the print press.

Guys, am I the only one that's noticed this or have others noticed that the Kerry campaign, the comments and actions of the New Left, CBS and all their ilk is starting to look like an overnight slumber party in a mental ward? These people are seriously losing it. From Kerry's bizarre midnight commentary during the Republican Convention to Dan Rather's Fatwah telling us to look at the NG 'charges' and not the elephant in the living room (forgery) to liberal pundits calling Kerry's Senate record 'personal attacks' to Kerry ignoring all good advice to leave Vietnam alone to Kerry's...

John Kerry today writes in the op-ed column of the Wall Street Journal why GWB's economic policy has 'failed'. Kerry makes statements and takes stands eerily reminiscent of the Clinton 3rd way; moving to the center and making classic conservative economic statements. Watch out, he's talking to somebody who actually knows how to run a campaign. This may be the beginning of a new tact in which Kerry tries to move to the economic center. But frankly, even if he moves to the center it's probably too late now.

Eric Engen of the American Enterprise Institute wrote an article today in the Wall Street Journal espousing the Iowa Electronic Market, saying it was far more predictive than conventional polling. Hopefully this story will gain traction and reduce the visibility of popular, left-biased polling in favor of market-oriented indicators.

I lament the missing chapter, the missing debate, and the missing language from the U.S. Constitution. I fear it's absence is the proximate cause of the never ending vitiation of our civil rights and Constitution. The missing language is below. What does everyone else think?
