Yes, he is. My 75 year-old father was born and raised in Austin, loves Willie and thinks Kinky may be the greatest writer America has ever produced. So do I.

Hoohah! I've been an amateur radio hobbyist for many years and get the same reaction when describing the thrill of talking to someone on the other side of the world, they all want to know why I bother and haven't I heard of the internet, etc. It's a damn shame.
No! Carter was the architect of the Clinton's debacle in Korea. He masterminded the appeasement and Bubba thought he could ride the plan to a Nobel himself.
The money went to Iraq from the UN, 25% of whose budget comes from US taxpayers, as our "contribution" to world peace. Sheesh, how long is your attention span?
Sometimes I just don't know what to believe. Colin acts like a whiney, girly-boy; then he turns around and acts like a professional soldier. Maybe he has bi-polar disorder.

This reminds me of one of my previos lives as a shriff's deputy in South Dakota. The Indian children didn't want to be home with drunk, stoned, parents who were always fighting. This sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks for the reply. Sorry I didn't reply last night but I was at work. This is a tidal-shift moment in time, if we don't prosecute the war on their territory it means we will have to fight them here at home. There are huge similarities between the Islamofascists and the late unlamented Japanese Nationalists. Both used religion to shield themselves from criticism and to rationalize horrible brutality to others. Their viewpoint was that 'Others' weren't human, therefore it was inhumane to treat them as animals. You see the same reflexive defensiveness from the Islamosists when they repeat the blood-lie against the Jews and equate Christianity with paganism.
Even though I had the GI Bill to help, I worked full-time and went to school full time. I had a wife and infant daughter and my wife worked part-time until I graduated and went to work for the Postal Service. My daughter started working at age 16 so she could have the clothes she wanted(at that age it's designer everything).
Maybe. But only if we keep the type of leadership we have now. At this point, there is no one on the dim side that could or would continue the struggle we're in, much less expand it to Syria or Iran or wherever we may have to go to take the war to the terrorists.
My thoughts also. It seems incredible that a poofter would have the gall to accuse the US of poor behavior. The Irish and British tolerate "Football" partisans that drink to excess, riot, tear up the publicly owned stadia and beat up the police who try to stop them. And then point to individuals like Drummond and make him the symbol of all of the US.
