"U.S. officials have said that the service members did not know what they were throwing into the burn pit and that the books were pulled out by Afghan workers before they were destroyed. President Barack Obama apologized to Afghan President Hamid Karzai for the incident.
Afghan officials, however, have claimed the burning was intentional, and it reinforced perceptions in the country that Americans are insensitive to the Afghans' religion and culture."
The gun has that appearance because the slide is pulled back and locked. When the slide is in the forward position, the barrel points straight ahead and the slide is flush with the front and rear of the pistol.

With this evidence, how in the world could they, in good conscience, arrest Zimmerman? He may be the recipient of a large settlement due to the DA caving to a jilted public’s opinion.

Springsteen is one of the biggest frauds of all. Used to be a huge fan, but I lost all respect when he started opening his mouth to spew his political views.
While drafted for the Vietnam war and through his own interviews and babble, he lied during his physical stating he was a homosexual. He failed his physical on this account and the fact that he hurt his leg in a motorcycle accident (although this didn't keep him from performing for hours on end every night) and was never drafted. He actually speaks about this on "The River" played his "Live, 1975 - 1985" album. He speaks with his father later that day after returning from the physical and his dad asks him how it went. He told his father that "they didn't take me".
How do you explain this to the man (or his family) who went in his place?

I highly recommend this movie (We Were Soldiers). If you have the DVD, go to the section where it gives you the option of hearing Randall Wallace's commentary on the making of the movie. The movie plays with him commenting on many of the scenes you are watching.
"He loved his body, look what he did to it," Anita Thompson jokes. She then adds a line that maybe even she fails, on its face, to grasp the significance of: "He gave his body everything it wanted."
I guess his body had a major craving for some lead.
