CAIRO (AP) — After gunmen in Paris killed 12 people, Saudi Arabia's top body of Muslim clerics quickly condemned the attack and said it could have no acceptable justification. It was a signal from some of the Islamic world's strictest voices that cartoons lampooning the Prophet Muhammad in the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo were not a reason to kill the artists.

On Sunday’s “Fox & Friends Weekend,” co-host Tucker Carlson asked that in light of last week’s terrorist attack on the French magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, it may be time to rethink immigration policy as it pertain to immigrants from Muslim countries.

As I write this article, France is set to hold a massive vigil for the 17 innocent victims killed in the recent spate of Muslim terror attacks that have paralyzed the country and shocked the Western world. The Jewish community of France has especially suffered, sustaining fatalities very disproportionate to their small numbers.

Dozens of Muslim men in Algeria took the streets outside of a mosque to celebrate the murders of 17 innocent lives in France at the hands of fundamentalist Islamist terrorists. Shouts of “strike France and the Jews,” “Allah is the greatest,” and “Charlie is dead” clamored throughout the streets in the Belouizidad district of Algiers, according to Haaretz.

The Grand Synagogue of Paris shuttered ahead of Shabbat services on Friday night in the wake of a series of terror attacks across the city, including one siege on a Jewish market by an Islamic extremist.

Free speech proponent Mark Steyn scolded Western media on “The Kelly File” for being all bark and no bite in support of French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo following a brutal terrorist attack Wednesday that left 12 dead.Steyn told Megyn Kelly the Western media needs to “man up” and not “retreat even further into self-censorship” in the aftermath of the massacre in Paris.

As more French Jews face anti-Semitic attacks, many are leaving for Israel. Most of the attacks have come from Muslims, whether immigrants or French-born, many of whom have not assimilated into French society – if not rejecting French society entirely. Compounding the dangerous situation, France’s left-wing government refuses to acknowledge the scope of this crisis, apparently more afraid of losing Muslim votes they depend on than in defending France’s half-million Jews.

London Imam Anjem Choudary said that “you can see very well now in Paris, what the consequences of insulting the prophet are” and you need to understand that in Islam, this [insulting Mohammed] carries capital punishment” on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

The three Muslim gunmen who killed 12 journalists in Paris targeted not just those people and their satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, but a core ideal and human right of the West––the right to free speech in the public square defined by tolerance for different opinions. That’s why the killers, after they had called out the names of their individual victims before they shot them, bragged as they made their escape that they had “killed” Charlie Hebdo.

Tens of thousands of people have joined rallies across Europe to pay tribute to the victims of a massacre by Islamist gunmen at the satirical French weekly Charlie Hebdo. Many of the protesters have adopted the slogan 'Je Suis Charlie' - I am Charlie - holding up banners and placards printed with the words. Others were seen carrying enlarged versions of the some of the newspapers anti-Islamist cartoons.

The jihadists ‘who spoke perfect French’ claimed to be Al Qaeda. Despite attacks and numerous threats, they did not desist.
