Just today, an employee of mine has been told he cannot take possession of a firearm he wished to purchase until NICS gives a proceed response. He made the purchase at Sportsman's Warehouse, here in Flagstaff on Friday, the 22nd, and there has still been no response from the FBI. A manager laughed at him and informed him the 3 day requirement is merely a guideline for the FFL to follow, and that Sporstman's Warehouse would not release the firearm until the FBI gave the proceed call. A call to Cal-Ranch for their policy found that they are delaying release...

Pope Evades Criminal Charges by Hiding in Vatican February 16, 2013 Feb. 16, 2013 Late breaking news on the real reason why Pope Benedict XVI quit the job as Pope is centered around the fact that he was going to be charged for crimes against humanity by shielding pedophile priests in the RC church. A statement given to Reuters reveals that the Church has decided to grant Joseph Ratzinger immunity against any and all charges involving his protection of known sex offenders. As a high ranking member of the Catholic Church, Ratzinger knew priests who habitually were reported as sex...

Idaho: Campus Carry Legislation Defeated Because Three “Pro-Gun” Legislators Voted “No” Wednesday, March 30, 2011 Last Friday, the Senate State Affairs Committee voted to effectively defeat House Bill 222 by a 3 to 6 vote. This unfortunate outcome happened because three incumbents, who were previously A-rated and endorsed by the NRA Political Victory Fund in 2010, broke their promise on this issue. All three Senators -- Brent Hill, John McGee and Chuck Winder -- indicated in their responses to our 2010 candidate questionnaire, that they would support this self-defense legislation. Our ratings and endorsements of them last year were based...

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley told a church crowd just moments into his new administration that those who have not accepted Jesus as their savior are not his brothers and sisters, shocking some critics who questioned Tuesday whether he can be fair to non-Christians. "Anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I'm telling you, you're not my brother and you're not my sister, and I want to be your brother," Bentley said Monday, his inauguration day, according to The Birmingham News. The Anti-Defamation League on Tuesday called Bentley's remarks shocking. "His comments are...

Violence in Iraq has killed 100,000 plus Iraqi cililians since the U.S. led invasion of Iraq. U.S. airstrikes are blamed for the high casualty rate. The poll taken shocked authorities whose estimates were more like 15,000.

In bold red across my Netscape homepage this morning; Top Story: U.N. Fears Iraq Bombers Have Missing Explosives. Is this the same U.N. that ran out "chicken" when they got bombed in Iraq? The same U.N. that would not approve of their own resolutions to be enforced on the rogue Saddam Hussein? The same U.N. that pretends to be so significant, yet is so unproductive? The same U.N. whose opinion must be ignored? The same U.N. that Bill Clinton wants to head up?

The governer of Conneticut made a speech on TV last night appologizing for lying about gifts he had accepted. The congress of that state is talking impeachment. That is all I caught on the short blurb of NBC Today. I can't find any details on the MSNBC or the local NBC station's web page. Can anyone give me a link on this story?

Saddam Hussein came to Bakersfield and got shot at Wednesday. OK, that's a bit misleading. It was three images of Saddam, blown up to gigantic proportions on a Rosdale Highway billboard. And the guns shot paint balls, not real bullets, at the Iraqi leader's pictures when someone aimed and pulled the trigger. But for the people doing the shooting--donors to a fund for the families of local reservists who have been deployed in support of the war in Iraq--it was the next best thing to acturally shooting at the man whom the U.S. government is fighting to remove from power....

The father of a Marine Staff Seargent killed in the war was shown on the news carrying a snapshot of his late son, blaming President Bush for killing his only son. Call me insensitive, but NO ONE forced his son to enlist, or in this case re-enlist more than once to serve his country. The son is a hero, as far as I'm concerned. The father, though I grieve with him, is a boob! I dare you to flame me.

Along with nearly 100 cities, LA wants to be Anti-war, or in my estimation, anti-American.

I heard on the Los Angeles Channel 4 News this morning a small blurb about a city councel vote today as to whether or not Los Angeles will take part in the Anti-war Movement. Am I the only one that heard this?
