I’ve noticed the last few days when hitting news/activism or EVERYTHING ELSE which is how I normally browse the threads of the day, it comes up blank and says “your query returned no results”. I’ve tried everything browser related clearing the history, cache and cookies. Even did an update. Then I tried Safari browser on my iPhone and the same issue. I just realized if I sign out the threads appear as normal. As soon as I sign in, the same black screen and error prompt appears.

Ronna McDaniel, the chair of the Republican National Committee, on Sunday said GOP candidates running in this week’s midterm elections will ultimately accept the results after exploring all the options available to them.“Every election is run differently at the county level, at the precinct level,” McDaniel told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “So we want to make sure it’s run fair and transparently. And then we will let the process play out, and then we will accept the results.”Some Republican candidates have resisted declaring they would accept the results outright.

The lone survivor shot by Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year said Thursday that he believes the teen’s emotional display at his murder trial was mostly about him being “upset that he was caught” for the shootings.Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, a paramedic shot in the arm, said it was “emotional” to watch Rittenhouse, 18, testify about injuring him and killing two other men last summer as riots broke out in the city over racial injustice.

I've seen the last several weeks the normal list of threads have Pacific time zone shown even though I'm in Florida. Is this a server issue? It's normally in Eastern time zone for me and I haven't changed any settings and am not on VPN. Any ideas?

The shocking footage, which shows Philadelphia-native Emily Lance using a funnel to pee on a small American flag draped across a toilet seat, was eventually removed from Facebook. However, it has been reposted on multiple pages and can still be seen here (WARNING: viewer discretion is advised.)

(CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday if the FBI determines that President Donald Trump's campaign illegally coordinated with Russia, Attorney General Jeff Sessions should recuse himself from making the decision whether to pursue prosecutions. Sessions, a Trump appointee, "cannot make this decision," Graham said. But Graham deflected a question about a Washington Post report that Sessions twice spoke with the Russian ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak during the 2016 presidential campaign, saying he needs to know more. "If there were contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, they may be legitimate; they may be OK. I want to...

Just wondering if someone here on FR could give an estimate as to how much this would cost to repair. I had a home inspection done on a house I am planning on buying. The inspector downplayed this but this will be out of my pocket to repair and I paid more than I wanted to for the house and that was based on everything being perfect without the need to repair anything structurally.

A German investment firm has predicted Apple Inc’s downfall as it sets a stock price target of $60 per share. Berenberg Bank believes the financial model of the Cupertino-based company relies too much on the iPhone. Berenberg has forecasted a more than 50 percent decline of Apple shares. According to Apple Insider, the German firm’s price target is so “extreme” that it doesn’t appear to be plausible prediction but more of a statement. In a note to investors, Berenberg issued the extremely bearish forecast on Apple stock. Even a few investment firms who remain bearish on Apple have maintained price...

In Classic Shell there is an option to pin to start menu but it never works. Is this a bug or what? I see a bunch of empty space where the start menu is on the left side no matter what skin I use. In Win7 the left side will be populated by recently run programs and the programs that are pinned to the start menu. Pinning programs does nothing. Am I not able to figure this out or is this an option they over looked? I googled this and would be surprised I am the first person to mention...

Akin was favored to beat McCaskill until his remarks about "legitimate rape." KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Missouri Republican U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin, who sparked a furor in August with comments about "legitimate rape," was defeated by Democratic incumbent Claire McCaskill on Tuesday. Until the rape comment, Akin was considered the favorite to beat McCaskill in a state that has trended Republican and voted for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Tuesday. But the race reversed course after Akin's comment to a television station that women have natural defenses against pregnancy from "legitimate rape." The comment drew scorn from state...

Sarasota Woman Killed While Mowing Overgrown Grass on Median SARASOTA COUNTY - If police accounts are true, some of Andrea Rody's final words blamed Sarasota County, and a contract dispute that delayed mowing of roadway medians, for her own death on Monday. Rody, 45, who lived in the 6800 block of Mauna Loa Boulevard, was using a weed wacker about 9:30 a.m. Monday on the median near her home to cut down grass that grew 2 feet high during the ongoing county contract dispute. As she worked, Rody was struck by a car; she later died at a hospital in...

Hey all just wanted to start a thread to get some perspective on the ages of us here. I know we are a diverse group, but just wonder if the majority is 40 and up and wondering if there is a growing younger crowd signing up here. If it's ok to post this here maybe we can start a FReeper log of:Name - Age - Sex I'd understand if people might not want to post this info so if it is a good idea feel free to post.
