  • Why We Must Unify the Republican Party Before the Convention: President Hillary Clinton

    04/29/2016 3:52:59 PM PDT · 20 of 29
    Bluestocking to Brookhaven

According to the latest RealClearPolitics polls, in head-to-head competitions, Hillary Clinton beats Donald Trump by 7.3 percent, while, on the other hand, John Kasich beats Hillary by 7.5 percent. In the middle, Hillary beats Ted Cruz by 3.3%.

The problem for the Republicans is not disunity, it’s that Republican primary voters have failed to support the best candidate to beat Hillary — John Kasich. However, all is not lost — yet — since Republican primary voters have also failed to give a majority of their votes to the candidate who has the worst chance of beating Hillary — Donald Trump.

John Kasich or Ted Cruz will either be nominated at the Republican Convention, or, if Donald Trump is nominated instead, John Kasich, as Governor of Ohio, will spend the Convention calling out the Ohio National Guard to protect Clevelanders from the violent organized protests that the George Soros/Black Lives Matter/Bill Ayres psychiatric wing of the Democratic party is planning to unleash if Trump wins the nomination.

There is still a chance to save Cleveland and the Republican party. Let’s hope Republican voters in the remaining primary states rise to the challenge so we can save America from Hillary.

When the Chinese economy grows by 6.5%, analysts proclaim the end of the world is upon us. But when the U.S. economy grows by only a meager .5%, as it did during the last quarter, the same analysts simply shrug and try to find something nice to say about consumer spending or whatever.

If China in its supposed economic misery keeps growing 13% faster than the stagnant U.S., China will soon rule the world and the U.S. dollar will collapse. Time to buy gold.

At least we know Ann hasn’t lost her famous courage to speak her mind.

If Donald Trump hears that Ann’s called him ‘’mental’’ and other unflattering things, his likeliest response will be to attack her looks — for example, by announcing that ‘’She’s no longer a 10!’’ as he said about Heidi Klum, or he could find the most unflattering picture of Ann ever taken and have his friends at the National Enquirer spread it across their cover next week.

If a simple Israeli company has more expertise than the entire FBI to hack into iphones, it follows that the Israeli Defense Forces must have more than enough expertise to hack into, say, Iran’s nuclear-weapons program and to stymie whatever efforts are being made there.

Fortunately, unlike Europe, the U.S. hasn’t yet placed a boycott on Israeli imports so we can still deal effectively with terrorist threats.

  • National Enquirer scoop: A CIA-backed hooker assassinated Justice Scalia

The only person likely to care enough about Antonin Scalia’s demise and powerful enough to find the truth about what happened to him would be President Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz served as a Supreme Court clerk for Chief Justice Renquist in 1996, so he would have known Antonin Scalia personally, and as a Conservative he would have admired him. Also, as a champion of the law he would want justice to be served regarding Antonin Scalia’s unusual death and its aftermath.

Certainly Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton don’t care at all if Justice Scalia was offed by a CIA prostitute.

Since Hillary is most likely to become President next year, and Ted Cruz is most likely to be one of the Senate leaders who will oppose her destructive policies, Ted Cruz will have a good chance to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2020 and to go on to the White House.

So the strange case of Antonin Scalia will not die. And admirers of The National Enquirer will have a second reason besides the exposure of John Edwards’s peccadillos to promote tabloid journalism as a bastion of truth.

  • Donald Trump Hits All-Time Low In The Polls That Really Matter [Hindenburg?]

The purpose of polls isn’t just to give people something to argue about — polls also help candidates determine which voting groups they need to focus more resources on.

The numerous recent polls showing Donald Trump losing by large percentages among women voters should have been a wake-up call for him to show his more women-friendly side.

    So what did he do?

    He bashed Ted Cruz’s wife.

This not only confirmed accusations that Donald Trump is a misogynist, it also gave Ted Cruz the opportunity to become a knight in shining armor towards women by declaring to Donald Trump, ‘’Leave Heidi the hell alone!’’

If Donald Trump doesn’t deal with his women problem soon, he can’t win the presidency, but is he capable of doing so?

‘’The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.’’ ~Alexis de Tocqueville

It’s no wonder that in times of economic hardship more Americans have been willing to give up their freedom in return for bread and security. The Great Depression ushered in the New Deal and the Welfare State.

And the greater the Welfare State, the greater the poverty.

The Subprime Housing Crash of 2008 ushered in Obama for two terms and more socialism, and the result has been more poverty, more unemployment, and therefore more people willing to give up their freedom for bread and security.

Only prosperity will restore Americans’ confidence and desire for more freedom, but how will that happen if our poverty rolls keep increasing due to our increasingly socialistic system?

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have completely opposite views on immigration.

Donald Trump wants to build a wall on the Mexican border to keep out immigrants, while Hillary wants completely open borders so that immigrants will flood in.

Yet the clearer it becomes that Hillary would overwhelm Donald Trump in a presidential election, the more fervently Donald Trump’s supporters promote his candidacy.

The worst nightmare for those who fear and abhor immigrants would be life under a Hillary Clinton presidency, where immigrants would be welcomed with open arms and illegal immigrants already here would be given full citizenship.

But unless the Republicans nominate someone who can beat Hillary, that will be life in America.

Trump supporters despise the Republican Establishment and want to defeat its favorite candidate, Ted Cruz. Yet, on the other hand, they’re doing everything possible to help the Democratic Establishment achieve its goal of putting Hillary in the White House by promoting Donald Trump who is most likely to lose to Hillary.

Evidence of the pathetic state of our post-literate, dumbed-down culture can be found in the latest Amazon.com bestseller list — where 61 of the top 100 books are either children’s books, coloring books, or cook books. Words have become so...yesterday.

Even Oprah’s bookclub selections, which used to be top sellers, have been displaced by perennial favorites such as ‘’Go the F**k to Sleep,’’ ‘’Calm the F**k Down,’’ and ‘’Potty.’’

Is it any wonder that a vulgarian like Donald Trump and an old woman like Hillary Clinton who can barely deliver a coherent speech have captured the public’s imagination and are heading for their parties’ presidential nominations?

What will happen when the minority of Americans who are intelligent enough to read and hold jobs decide to Get the F**k Out of Here, instead of living among imbeciles under the regimes of Hillary or Donald Trump?

ISIS isn’t a country. Its evil, destructive terrorists are located all over the world.

So where would Donald Trump drop a nuclear bomb if he wanted to destroy ISIS? On Brussels? On London? On San Diego?

It’s not enough that Donald Trump has given Hillary and the Democrats ammunition to attack him as a racist, misogynist, and xenophobe, he’s now given them the opportunity to portray him as Dr. Strangelove.

Every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, Hillary becomes more and more inevitable in her quest for the White House.

It’s not impossible for countries to deal successfully with Muslim terrorists. Israel has been doing it for its entire existence.

Why have Brussels, Paris, New York, and London been the focus of massive terrorist bombings while Tel Aviv and Jerusalem have managed to avoid them?

Because Israel has better intelligence abilities than other countries — abilities that Israel would certainly be happy to share if asked by countries like Belgium whose bumblings proved fatal this week to 34 innocent victims.

Unfortunately, Belgians think of Israel as a country to be boycotted, principally for trying to protect itself against Muslim terrorist organizations — Hamas and the PLO; so it’s unlikely that Belgium will turn to Israel for help protecting itself against its own Muslim terrorist attackers, ISIS.

Have Easter bonnets also been declared verboten by the Belgian authorities?

If Belgians are interested in ingratiating themselves with Muslim terrorists in order to avoid becoming suicide-bombing targets, they should dress like Muslim terrorists.

The men can grow beards and wear ‘’Kiss Me, I’m ISIS!’’ tee-shirts, while the women can array themselves in full burkas.

It’s a wonder the Belgian government hasn’t already issued a mandatory Arab dress-code for all its citizens — at least until it figures out how to prevent recurrent suicide bombings.

If it can’t figure that out, ISIS will take over Belgium and proclaim its own Arab dress-code, with beheadings for noncompliance.

In the meantime, the Belgians are demonstrating their lack of seriousness about dealing with their problems by issuing a fatwa against children in Purim costumes.

For years Muslims in Europe have been murdering Europeans.

However, since almost all of the European victims of Muslim hatred have been Jewish, no great incentive has developed to get serious about policing Muslim neighborhoods.

Now Muslim murderers have become equal-opportunity terrorists, targeting all Europeans, regardless of race, creed, or degree of abject servitude to Muslim causes such as the destruction of Israel.

Only a few months ago, Brussels was the scene of the European Union’s enactment of a continent-wide boycott against Israeli goods. Yet Muslim terrorists have not been appeased; instead, they’ve increased their deadly attacks against their European anti-Israel allies.

Europe’s continuing failure to improve its Muslim-neighborhood policing threatens to turn Europe into one big Muslim neighborhood. But do Europeans care enough to do anything about it?

Organizations that are serious about not countenancing ad hominem attacks do not invite people like Donald Trump to give speeches at their events.

    What was AIPAC expecting?

Donald Trump is the political version of Don Rickles on steroids. And his attacks aren’t merely against individuals, they’re also against entire groups, for example, Mexicans, whom he called ‘’criminals and rapists,’’ the hundred million-plus Muslims in the world, and the Pope and his 1.2 million adherents.

Just because the only group Donald Trump hasn’t attacked yet are Jews doesn’t mean AIPAC should have given him a forum to attack others.

  • Why Ted Cruz is more likely to pull an upset than Bernie Sanders

    The nomination is still open.

We’ve gone through two Super Tuesdays and about fifty Republican debates, yet Donald Trump has still failed to close the deal.

That’s why we’re talking about Ted Cruz.

If Donald Trump can’t rise above his current 40% in the polls, and Ted Cruz and John Kasich together can win a majority of the convention delegates — their combined polling numbers currently add up to 48% — they can combine forces at the convention, and one of the two can win the nomination while the other can be chosen as the vice-presidential candidate.

If that happens, the Republicans would have a winning ticket of Cruz and Kasich — both of whom are beating Hillary in head-to-head competitions, one of whom has the best chance of delivering the must-win state of Ohio in the general election, and neither of whom suffers from the serious Donald Trumpian handicap of having a 65% disapproval rating.

    That’s the Republicans’ winning formula.

Never again would the Clintons be continually in our faces. Never again would we have to cringe to embarrassing outbursts by Donald Trump such as his attack on Brussels as a ‘’hell-hole’’ following ISIS’s deadly attack on the city when the Belgians need our support not our schoolyard taunts.

It would be so easy to be a civilized country again.

    Cruz/Kasich 2016. Why can’t we do it?

Jewish people make up only 1.5% of the American population, and the great majority of them are Democrats who are concentrated in New York City and other metropolitan areas and would never vote for a Republican be he Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, or whoever.

American Jews are important in elections because they are major political donors. However, Donald Trump is not taking donations because he’s a billionaire, so only Ted Cruz can benefit from speaking to AIPAC, which he probably did by picking up a few extra millions from his pro-Israel speech.

But the major benefactor of Jewish money this election year is Jewish himself — Bernie Sanders, who once worked on an Israeli kibbutz.

In a head-to-head competition between Bernie and Donald Trump, Bernie wins by 10%, compared to Hillary’s 6%. If Bernie wins the big states — New York, California, Illinois — he’ll send Hillary and Bill home to Chattauqua, and he and his comrades will overrun the Winter Palace, er, the White House.

It’s not about Donald Trump anymore. It’s about freedom vs. a socialist dictatorship. Donald Trump and his 65% unfavorable rating cannot win the White House, so only Ted Cruz or John Kasich can save us. When will Republicans wake up?
