The left is using #Neveragain to support gun control. Bless the left's heart, but they aren't very good at sloganing, and have chosen the battle-cry for the holocaust - a time when only the government owned the guns. Is it possible to subvert a twitter tag to render it useless? What would be the effect if we all tweeted pro-gun messages tied to the holocaust with the tag #neveragain?

Navy SEAL Danny Dietz died in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005, fighting al-Qaeda guerrillas. He posthumously received the Navy Cross for heroism. (The Denver Post) Littleton - With its green lawn, jungle gym and picnic gazebo, Berry Park is an unlikely battlefield, but the local flap over the statue of a fallen war hero set to be placed here brewed into a national conflict Thursday. The Internet, talk radio and cable news spread the word of some parents' concerns about the planned bronze sculpture of Navy SEAL Danny Dietz holding his automatic rifle. "There's no middle ground here, and that's...

Any freepers in Colorado know about any opportunities for first year law students?

I am looking at moving to NYC in the next couple of months, and am trying to decide which firearms I am allowed to take with me. Is anyone familiar with NYC's laws regarding long-guns and handguns?

Gov. Bill Owens on Monday offered his road-heavy budget proposal to state lawmakers while acknowledging that he probably won't get the entire $296 million he's seeking for transportation projects this year. "Now, I'm aware that there are other requests being made for this revenue, specifically for higher education, and I'm certainly open to having that discussion with you," Owens said of the extra money the state will collect under Referendum C. "I'm stating my preference, and obviously I understand that, during this process, while some of my preferences may make it into law, not all of my preferences will." After...

As our society has evolved, we have evaluated and addressed the individual rights of different groups. This has often resulted in more fair treatment of these groups and thus benefited society, in other circumstances however this has marginalized the rights and roles of other groups. In no instance is this more apparent than in men’s lack of reproductive rights. In an episode of “Sex in the City” the character Miranda is impregnated. When Miranda learns of her pregnancy, she decides to have an abortion. Due to the “complexity” of this decision, Miranda also decides not to tell the father of...

I am currently in a discussion with a liberal friend about abortion. This individual maintains that abortion laws must be kept as they are to allow for the abortion in the case of rape, incest, and threat to life. I would guess that these three instances are very rare. Does anyone have any statistics regarding abortions for these instances?

The french referendum for the ratification of the EU constitution is tomorrow. As a good old fashion american, I cannot understand why any country would want to entangle themselves with so many economically, militarily, and morally weak countries. The greater question is though, how can Europeans believe that this is a good thing? Over the past several years, Europe has become morally bankrupt to the point that they can no longer call anything evil (unless W says its good). And yet, they hope to form a country, with a powerful military and economy, so that they can balance out the...

I decided to purchase a Rubin Schmidt K31 Swiss rifle. The bullets however are a bit expensive, and I would like to learn how to reload my own ammunition. I am looking for a bit of direction in where to go to learn to reload, to get equipment, etc.

I am a college student trying to get a reasonable collection of firearms, while I am still allowed to purchase them (hopefully at least four more years). I am currently looking for a gun that is accurate up to 1000 yards, that is affordable, reliable, and for which I can afford ammunition. I have narrowed my search down to a Mosin Nagant 91/30 or a Mauser M98 (8mm). If anyone can give me some feedback as to which would be a better gun, I would appreciate that.

I was reading in a German magazine, the Spiegel, and I found this article. I appologize for the translation, and whatever posting rules I may have broken, but I am new to this game. Bush’s Automatic Victory Spiegel-Online Following reports about irregularities in the presidential election in the swing-state Ohio, there are now concerns about the results in Florida. According to a report by the renowned university Berkeley, the use of electric voting machines gave Bush a large advantage. Hamburg- According to a study, the computer ran voting system gave George Bush 260,000 votes more than he should have had....

US reveals Iraq nuclear operation The US has revealed that it removed more than 1.7 metric tons of radioactive material from Iraq in a secret operation last month. "This operation was a major achievement," said US Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham in a statement. He said it would keep "potentially dangerous nuclear materials out of the hands of terrorists". Along with 1.77 tons of enriched uranium, about 1,000 "highly radioactive sources" were also removed. The material was taken from a former nuclear research facility on 23 June, after being packaged by 20 experts from the US Energy Department's secret laboratories. It...
