Not divided but prepared. Congratulations Mitt Romney, you won over conservatives in Florida, Hispanics, women, working families, guys like me who go to work in technology and industry, who work in science and medicine, you won over middle America – yes, the tough fight in the Primaries has proven that though some bots have tried to turn Romney into a non-American, outside the fold of the heartbeat of Americans, Republicans have shown in the state of Florida they want to seize the opportunity for a new economic revival. I do not have time to dwell on mindless conspiracy theories about nameless “establishment” conclaves that don’t exist, my hero of the day has a name and it is the name Mitt Romney that will unite Republicans first, and then all of America, because Romney is about believing in America and that is what I do believe in.

I am now excited about who he will select as his running mate?

It is great to be with the winners and not the whiners – I am totally bored by the whiners who only hymn and haw and hum and drum on with the complaining and loser attitude and waste our time and resources -— but I am excited by the winners who continue on with battle to take back America from the Democrats and from Obama. Florida has finalized my decision, I loved Mitt’s message tonight and I have made my final choice as a proud Republican and an eager American to go down that road to our renewal and to vote for Mitt Romney, period.

Our forefathers are printed on the face of our money. I want that to be true in the future as well. And it will take a lot of money for Romney to compete in this battle with Obama – Obama has 1 Billion dollars in his campaign war chest, so if some folks want to complain about the campaign dollars that Mitt has, I say I am happy he has the money and I want him to have more … In fact, I just sent in $50 dollars more because, let’s not waste any time, this will be a war and we need to prepare for war by sacrificing a few dollars for the cause, and though $50 dollars isn’t much, and it becomes ever more devalued each day thanks to our debt that is over us all and our children, before our coins literally become “coins of lead”, if we all give early then regularly then over time Mitt will have 1 Billion dollars as well in his campaign war chest.

Romney will lead a brilliant campaign against Obama and his allies. You just watch. I want to help him if I can in any way I can.

Congratulations Mitt Romney on a prevailing showing and victory in the N.H. primary!

And congratulations too, to the second place Ron Paul and third place Jon Huntsman. Ron Paul’s speech tonight after the results, well it was very impressive and we could definitely hear that spark and fight in his voice! I did enjoy his delivery. And I loved Huntsman’s attitude, I am very impressed with his showing and his demeanor. I also was very, very impressed with Mitt Romney’s speech tonight after his tremendous victory. I don’t care if you understand my background at all, but having participated back when Reagan ran (both during the lean years and his eventual victory), the content and character of Romney’s delivery tonight so much reminded me of Reagan, I was very happy with his message indeed!

You know, there is a saying, and I AGREE WITH ROMNEY, that:

“Winners inspire ambition, losers foment envy.”

Without sounding too harsh, it is my understanding that Newt Gingrich has been using the politics of envy, leftist propaganda methods of counter-point, to attack Romney. As a Reagan Republican, I don’t like the tone and message of Newt Gingrich at this juncture, he has failed in his message from this point on. I am not interested in the politics of envy, we get enough of that from Obama. I am very, very – should I say disappointed? I guess I can say that the message of Gingrich in N.H. only put in my mind the conception that Newt is just a cantankerous old bug-a-boo with a rather uncouth and pesky old rancorous fart that is typical of an old man scorned of his bunny girl. Like the loser staring at a bruise on his knee and would rather see his friend in the Rugby game who gave him the bruise be destroyed rather than the bully who stole his lunch bag go to the supervisor for his just desserts.

    There is another saying:

“Employing the authority of the past to flatter the vanity of the present” – so Mr. Gingrich, with all due respect, the next time you make speech about Reagan, ask yourself this …. Would Reagan have said some of the things you have said recently?

I doubt it. And while I don’t really have a big problem with Newt, and while I will admit that I am an old cantankerous old fart myself (though I have my bunny, for I was not scorned) – I can tell you right now, if Newt gets the nomination we (Republicans and conservatives) are THROUGH, and the reason is from talking and hearing from the gals and girls and ladies.

The gals are NOT going to vote for Newt. Too many think he is some sort of scoundrel in regards to his dealing with the females and in particular with his wife, or wives, or whatever – I really don’t know the details nor do I care, nor do I hold ANYTHING of these personal matters against Gingrich. What was done, I don’t even care about it, and that is why in part I don’t even know the details because I am not interested.

All I know is, the gals aren’t going to vote for him for whatever their strange reasons are, and I don’t want to lose this election to four more years of Obama. Period.

First of all, congratulations to Rick Santorum on his amazing surge and showing at the Iowa Caucases.

Now, some of the obvious points from watching the Iowa Caucuses on Fox are:

    (1) Bret Baier doesn’t know how to add or subtract.

    (2) A preponderance of Santorum supporters have Pro-Life/Abortion as their primary concern in terms of focus as revealed in their Google searches, which doesn’t bode well if he is running against Obama since the primary concern of America in 2012 is Jobs and the Economy.

While Rick Santorum may address the economy, his vocal supporters may tend to ignore the main issue and spend their time running around screaming about abortion, holding up signs about killing babies instead of holding up signs about Obama killing jobs and that would pretty much sink America inot the pit of four more years of Obama mush meals.

    (3) Santorum has definitely emerged as the man of the moment, the Knight on the Black Horse appearing from the hillock and now raising his sword to descend into the battle as the “Anti-Romney” vote (and in part the Evangelist Ram’s horn calling out to counter to the evil of Mormonism) ---- that is up until he is labeled by the some of the same evangelicals as a Papist whose true loyalty is to the Pope, which will soon give rise to a new movement called the Fifth Monarchy Men who will throw their support towards an independent run byRon Paul which will result in the re-election of Obomination.

    (4) Carl Rove is a pathetic Establishment Republican who is going to wet his whistle for Romney no matter what happens or who is rounding second base.

    (5) There is a saying, “The Life of the King is inside the Parrot”. The parrot has been sitting right there and has observed and put to memory everything. And then the parrot will squawk, and tell all the World about it, and it will be too true to ignore even if it is the parrot who speaks and not a magic mirror. At that moment, it won’t matter how many gems are in the crown of the King – all eyes and ears will be on the parrot. And the parrot is Sarah Palin. Whoever she endorses, that will be the squawk that turned the worm.

    (6) Bachmann needs a shoulder to cry on. It’s … well … sort of like … like you don’t want to say anything. Like when someone falls off the stage. Or …

    (7) Perry is now a pie, and not a candidate. Perry pie. Fried chicken and perry pie.

    (8) On to N.H…. and Gingrich is pulling out the gloves. Boy. Santorum and Romney, they are really scared now. Shaking in their boots. Watch out boys. Doc Newt is bringin’ the bag of tools to do an operation on Rocky Racoon. Everyone is clearing the bar! … …. Yeah … right. They are scared now. A-huh.

That is sort of how I see it. I am still leaning Romney. But ride Santorum, ride!

These are the same people who would take a hammer to the Statue of David by Michelangelo (1504 AD) if they take over Italy (Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence) – the same idiots who smashed and blew up ancient statues of the Buddha in Afghanistan, the same crude and piggish fools who burned ancient books in Egypt to cover up the history of Western (non-Islamic) glory and achievements, who tore down ancient and wondrous temples in India to put up mosques in their place, who would burn the great art of Jan Vermeer and many of the other Dutch masters of the world.

Yes, who would dress up as Santa Claus and then kill in the name of Islam!

They hate America because we landed on the moon. And when the Chinese land on the moon in the next 2 years as America fades, they will hate the Chinese!

They hate everyone because in fact, they DIDN’T invent zero, the savants of India did.

They REALLY hate Santa Claus. And who would hate Santa? The answer is no one, unless you are totally a loser and a pathetic excuse for humanity.

I don’t care how much fellow forum members hate the French and France. I am not about to surrender my beloved Europe to the Muslim fanatics and Mullahs. There will always be an England, and may Joan of Arc save France from the Islamic freak terrorist et all. Hate France all you want, I say God Save France and her WONDERFUL grapes!

If the Muslims have their way, as they say in their holy book – they will make the “evil berry” illegal (wine), and if they are about to take the Red vin away I say off with their heads! California wine is the best, but God save French wine!

I think this is great – that France is making citizenship count. I wish we would do the same!

As a leaning-Romney supporter, this would make things very interesting for me (Palin as VP candidate on the Newt 2012 ticket). Prior to Newt's illegal immigration flub during the debates, I considered him one of my choices (Romney, Cain, Gingrich), since I considered him as the winner of pretty much every debate. I sent Newt a donation, etc..

But then came the immigration comment, and at that point he dropped off my list, and was replaced with Bachmann. I had previously also sent money to Romney, and it was looking like my choice would probably be him since Cain faded fast before the vicious personal attacks he suffered under.

Yes, it probably would be pandering due to his sinking in the polls, but right now ANY candidate among whom I considere the contenders (Mitt, Rick S., Bachmann) would win me over by selecting Palin (if she so decides - I doubt it) --- and now that would include Newt even though it probably has more to do with his (sudden) poor numbers in the contest.

Just as Palin on the McCain ticket really won me over, the same would be true in 2012 for me.

But again, just because Newt likes her and would want her on the ticket, doesn't mean she is interested. To be frank, as soon as I dropped Newt the first go around, his supporters in what I consider much more rude manner than any Paul supporters ever have - they attacked me because I was leaning Romney. My thoughts were, and are, that even Newt himself doesn't want those kind of supporters who only (really) turn off others with such attitude.

But if Newt is smart enough to win over Palin to his ticket, yup, I on board again! --- but not to break some bad news to Newt supporters, when I listen to her very carefully, I got a gut that even if she would consider a VP run again, she really isn't on any Injun attack party against Romney... that fact makes me think, she might consider running VP under Romney, don't be surprised.

As for Paul supporters, again I have always admired the guy but I just don't think he can beat Obama --- and that is very important to me.

Good luck Newt, Palin may be your last hope. Better kiss her nice! (I wish I COULD!) --- and watch out for Rick S.! He's on my radar now, too, I am giving him a good look as one of my choices.

Mischaracterize you? You put up postings calling others "trolls" and such crap, that is you're M.O... You give Newt a bad name, and I will repeat, I will bet you anything he doesn't want your type on his team because it is your type that drive away others who were thinking of backing Gingrich ... I donated money to Newt, but now that he made his position obvious on illegal immigration, I am joining the others who cannot support him, no way.

He's off my list, just as I dropped Perry when he made his stupid remark on In-state tuition for illegals (and that IS one difference between Newt and Perry, Newt IS smart, and sorry but Perry isn't) ...

You're going to see your candidate drop in the polls, and lose what was a good chance on the nomination. That is the truth, and it is among ALL Republicans who decide who will be the nominee.

You vote for whoever you damn want, but don't go around insulting long time conservatives such as myself who have been involved directly involved in political campaigns since Reagan. You want Newt? Then go ahead and vote for him. I will vote for who I choose, be it Romney, Cain or now Bachmann... Let's see in the end who Republicans decide - but please stop your childish slurs against those who do not agree with you, your idiotic conspiracy theories and so lame.

It is so typical ... I bet you were one of those Bushbots who were attacking folks like me when we were warning about Bush running around with a sombrerro and hanging out with the prez of Mexico instead of our warnings about Usama Binladen (that's how his name was spelled then) coming back after the initial bombing of the Trade Center for a second try and then 911 happened ("who would have thought they would use planes?" said Condie? .. answer - lots) .. Are you an example of a typical Newt supporter? If so, just another reason why he's now going to lose the nomination, and with friends of Newt like you I bet he wishes you weren't because you're the type he doesn't need on his team.

Vote for whoever you like, I can tell you right now he lost his chance when the votes come home now because of last night. And if the members of the Republican Party DO nominate Romney, what are insulting peons like you going to do about it? Commit suicide?

Doesn’t matter what the poll says today, give it a few more days and take another poll ... Newt did it to himself with his comments last night related to illegal immigration .. he just lost me, he is going to lose the nomination now... I suppose some fools can try to revisit the Reagan amnesty to try and make an excuse for this, really stupid in one way, fundamental mistiming and blunder - the situation isn”t the same as back when Reagan made a mistake... there were 6 million illegals back then ... today there are more than 20 million ... probably 25 to 30 million... And do you notice how the establishment has been using the 12 million illegals number since Bill Clinton 1992? Your telling me the number hasn’t changed since 1992? Newt won”t be the nominee now, and ask him to come to my town and clean up all the spray painted crap all over our towns and parks from Mexican gangs.. Newt blew it.

My God, I can’t believe it if it is true. I didn’t see the debate due to work, but is there a video clip of the Gingrich statement regarding illegal immigration? I don’t care if he coddles it under State’s Rights, if this is true – just as it sunk Perry – this is going to sink what was his very good chance of getting the nomination. I was down to my choice between him, Romney and Cain – but once I get clarification on the exact and full statement, and it turns out what Fox news and family/work associates are saying, then man, he’s not my choice.

That will pretty much, probably sets the deal for Romney winning the nomination (though I haven’t heard what Romney might have said to the same sort of question at the same debate since, like I said, I missed it sadly) … I can’t believe Newt has made such a huge blunder …

If this is true I am swapping Newt for Bachmann. So it will be Romney, Bachmann or Cain now for me. Though I didn’t hear the debate, I am pretty sure in guessing Bachmann no way supports or coddles or enables or encourages illegal immigration – and I won’t mince words, I am talking about illegals invading from Mexico (along with a strong drug and criminal element which also supports smuggling not only drugs but terrorists into this country) …
