  • Kenosha Crowd Reacts to Rittenhouse Verdict...and It's Not What the Lying Media Told You Would Happen

    11/19/2021 1:43:45 PM PST · by Conserv · 70 replies
Townhall Media’s Julio Rosa is on the ground in Kenosha capturing the events as they unfold after Kyle Rittenhouse was declared not guilty on all counts by a jury of his peers. Based on media reporting in the last few weeks, you might have expected the crowd outside to explode with rage and immediately begin burning down the courthouse. That’s not what happened. Not only is the crowd overwhelmingly cheering for Rittenhouse and his right to self-defense, but the majority of the cars driving by were honking their horns in support of the verdict.

CNN)President Joe Biden participated Thursday in a CNN town hall in Baltimore, taking questions from anchor Anderson Cooper and local residents about his legislative agenda and a variety of other topics. Biden made some false claims, along with making other claims that could have used additional context. He also made one claim, an assertion that he has visited the southern border in the past, that CNN couldn't immediately verify and that the White House did not immediately provide evidence to support. Here's a fact check of some of his claims from Thursday's town hall. Biden and the border A college...
  • ‘Why’s He Saying This Stuff?’ Chris Wallace Calls Out Biden Rhetoric, Argues it ‘Doesn’t Hold Up to Scrutiny’

    10/22/2021 10:51:49 AM PDT · by Conserv · 46 replies
Chris Wallace called out various bits of rhetoric from President Joe Biden — arguing that his words often don’t “hold up to scrutiny.” Appearing on America’s Newsroom Friday, the Fox News Sunday anchor addressed a comment the president made at a CNN town hall Thursday in which he said that he would consider deploying the national guard to alleviate supply chain issues. The White House later walked back those comments, as that power rests with governors. “There’s the question of people’s confidence that when the president says something that it’s gonna happen, or that he understand how it’s gonna to...

Senator Joe Manchin swiftly denied a report he is considering leaving the Democratic party. Mother Jones reported Wednesday Manchin has been talking to associates about leaving the party, which set off a whirlwind of political speculation — and skepticism. Manchin was asked by reporters about this and said rather bluntly, “I can’t control rumors, and it’s bullshit. Bullshit spelled with a B-U-L-L, capital B!”
  • GOP Gains in Governor’s Race(tied at 46%, Registered Voters)/Enthusiasm gap and shift in voter priorities boost Youngkin

West Long Branch, NJ – With two weeks to go before Election Day, Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin are locked in a close battle for governor of Virginia. The last Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll of the race before the election marks a gain for the GOP candidate from prior polls. Youngkin’s improved position comes from a widening partisan gap in voter engagement and a shift in voters’ issue priorities, particularly around schools and the pandemic. Youngkin (46%) and McAuliffe (46%) hold identical levels of support among all registered voters. This marks a shift from prior Monmouth polls where...

Biden’s favor among black voters dropped substantially between an initial poll conducted between September 6 and 8 — just before Biden’s mandate announcement on September 9 — and a second poll taken between September 18 to 20 of more than 1,000 black voters. The second poll revealed that 71 percent of black voters approve of Biden’s performance, down 5 points since...

  • Analysis indicates Dems could lose 41 House seats

    09/21/2021 12:00:17 PM PDT · by Conserv · 83 replies
A new analysis of President Joe Biden’s downward-trending approval ratings finds that his Democratic Party could hemorrhage as many as 41 seats in the House during next year’s midterm elections, or close to as many as then-President Donald Trump’s GOP lost in 2018. Glen Bolger of Public Opinion Strategies told the Washington Examiner that it is not difficult to tie presidential polling to election outcomes and because Biden’s approval rating continues to decline, he believes the president’s party will lose close to the 41 seats lost during Trump’s midterm, or 34 more than the GOP needs to regain control of...

CBS chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes called the bombings outside the airport in the Afghan capital of Kabul on Thursday – killing 12 U.S. service members and injuring 15 others – “the worst day” of Joe Biden’s presidency. Teeing up Cordes, CBS host Norah O’Donnell also called what happened on Thursday “the worst day of the Biden presidency.” “It’s the worst day of the Biden presidency, Norah, and it is the deadliest day for U.S. service members in a decade, since August of 2011, when 30 Americans lost their lives when a helicopter was shot down, so this is...

  • What All Those House Retirements Mean For Democrats So Far

    08/22/2021 7:10:46 PM PDT · by Conserv · 7 replies
On Aug. 12, the U.S. Census Bureau released detailed redistricting data that states will use to draw their congressional lines. These new maps are important because they will not only help determine which party has an advantage moving into the 2022 midterms, but also influence whether members of the U.S. House of Representatives seek reelection, run for another office or leave political life entirely. Indeed, complications from redistricting may have influenced two Democratic House members in highly competitive seats to announce their exits recently, portending trouble for their party in next year’s midterm elections. Perhaps most notably, longtime Wisconsin Rep....
  • ABC Blasts Biden’s ‘Breathtaking’ Lies on Afghanistan Catastrophe

    08/20/2021 2:18:10 PM PDT · by Conserv · 93 replies
Immediately following President Biden’s contentious Friday press conference about the ongoing disaster he created in Afghanistan, ABC News special coverage slammed him for saying things about the crisis that were just blatantly false. Correspondents described his lies as “breathtaking” and completely out of touch with the dire reality facing U.S. citizens and Afghan allies still trapped in the Taliban-controlled country. World News Tonight anchor David Muir turned to senior foreign correspondent Ian Pannell, still reporting from Kabul, and skeptically asked about Biden’s assertion that Americans and Afghans could get to the capital city’s surrounded airport: “The President said he has...
