I am curious to know if any of my fellow Freepers out there are currently living in Arkansas. I was informed over the weekend about an investigation taking place in a town that is only 2 miles outside of Hope, Arkansas that involves extreme acts of police brutality against African Americans. Incidents include murder, kidnapping, torture (castration, beatings, etc.) Has anyone heard anything about this? Apparently, the story will be released to CBS after November (for obvious political reasons). I'm not looking to fire-up the rumor mill, but if anyone has information on this subject I'm all ears.

It's not the NRA, it's the Constitution! This is perfect. Let the orwellian progressive socialist talking heads and media whores tangle with this one. Make them argue against the Constitution and expose them as the scum, as the enemies of this country that they are.

Once again it seems that our honest and trustworthy legislators have let us down. They failed to pass a "gun-control" law that would have prevented the shooting that took place at the daycare center in L.A. earlier this week. Since these legislators just can't seem to pass a "gun-control" law capable of preventing such tragedies, I have take upon myself to give my legislative mind a try at this seemingly difficult task. I read in a Reuters article the other day that there are reports from inside of Russia that Boris Yeltsin is planning to declair a state of emergency if (when) the Y2K problems begin. By doing so, he will suspend the scheduled elections (where he would most likely lose) and stay in power until furhter notice. His spokespeople have denied any such allegations. The last I heard, Russia is nowhere near being Y2K complaint with ANY of its infrastructure. The Russians have been aware of the Y2K problem for enough time to attempt to remedy their situation...but they have not. ...
