  • Mexico criticizes Georgia's newly approved anti-immigrant law

Well, since they illegal immigrants think they belong here and the American southwest is theirs to begin with, let's make them all Americans, even the ones back home.
My solution: Annex Mexico, break it into 6 US territories, arrest Fox and his corrupt government and deport them to China. We us the resources of Mexico to improve the life of former Mexicans. (This is the only amnesty program I'd get onboard with).

    PING!!!

Personally, I say we revoke LA's statehood, turn it back into a US Territory. Then we can have it fixed correctly. When the people of LA prove they can be trusted to elect noncorrupt legistatures, governors and congressional representatives, we can open debate on whether to allow them to reapply for statehood.

I believe it is fairly obvious that our "own" CIA is running a covert operation against the Executive Branch. They are worried that Bush is going to shake up things there so much and heads are gonna roll and they will be embarassed because of their miss on 9/11 and Iraq intelligence.

Here's another DemoRat misconception. We are not a democracy, we are a representative republic. I don't think they grasp what that is.

Nice thought, but won't work because property taxes are state or county based, not federal. Not to mention the outcry raised over losing revenue for school systems, which is what most property taxes are used for, at least in part.
Be nice if it worked. Fact is, they should allow anyone with 15 years or more to retirement to opt out of social security altogether.
I must say, that I am sorely disappointed in our "conservative" majority and the lack of collective balls they have. They need to start acting like they've won the elections and start sticking it to the dems instead of trying to play nice.

    Sorry. That dog won't hunt.
Most of the "insurgents" and "resistance forces" are not Iraqis, and that is the major problem. These people are not fighting for their freedom from oppression or tyranny, but for their right to suppress freedom and enforce tyrannical rule. The Iraqis who may be mixed up in this are mostly leftover Bathists and dupes.

Personally I have no problem with that arrangement. The only drawback I see, and I am NOT be sexist, is that I don't think a lot of the conservative south and mid-west are quite ready for a women as president. I think Condi is very qualified, I just worry about her chances against anyone other than the Hildebeast. Obviously if both parties run women, it is a none issue, except the country, or parts may feel like they are having a woman forced on them by both parties. There are a lot of consideration to make. I think it would be much smarter to run Dr. Rice or Colin Powell as the VP candidate with a very strong moral leader as Pres. Just my opinion on how to win.

I know everybody knows that killing people is not the way to get your point across but the US has been oppressing and back stabbing these people for so long.

You make fairly broad statements about the US oppressing and backstabbing these people, yet provide no specifics.
These fanatics have done more harm to their people than any nation, especially the USA, could ever be accused of.
Here is one very good example:
In Afghanistan, before the US liberated it, the Taliban was in control. The UN had built a national soccer stadium in the country, which the Taliban turned into a place of public execution. When the UN told whined about the misuse of the stadium and wanted them to cease and use it for its intended purpose, the Taliban said only if the UN would provide an equivalent venue in which to hold the public executions. The UN of course declined, and the Taliban thumbed their noses at them, and continued the practice in the soccer stadium. The vast majority of people executed there were women who had supposedly broken some religious law, like not having their burka (spelling?) correct, or allowing a lock of hair to be seen, or allowing a man to see their face, or not moving fast enough to suit someone. These women could be beaten by any man on the street, and could be accused without defense and sentenced to die.

The Taliban and Al Quaida type of regimes and terrorists are a different and new breed that has crossed over from anywhere near what you could call revolutionaries. They do not just want to inflict terror by homicide bombing a group a civilians, they have stepped up to abducting innocent people and sawing off their heads in the most barbaric manner possible. There is no room in my world for animals like this, and given the chance I would gladly put several bullets into the head of each and every one of them, with no more remorse than putting down a rabid dog. (Actually, I might feel a little bad about the dog).
If you have any doubts about the kind of people these "revolutionaries" are, you obviously haven't seen the video of one of the beheadings. DON'T try to make us see they have a reason, a cause, or a right! You have no ground to stand on with that. And if you believe, which it seems apparent you do, that back off these people and giving them what they want will make the world a happy place, you haven't studied much history. They will just try to take more and more, knowing they have you at their mercy.

I arrived at my precincts polling place at 6:35 am (EST) 5 minutes after they openned. Wait time = 1 hour. Chalk up 1 Buckeye vote for W.
I'm leaving work a little early to watch our kids while my wife adds another W Buckeye vote.
Condition of the polls, fairly quiet, no obvious shananigans, a little slow, but all in all pretty good.

I viewed this video from Michael Savage's site a week or so ago. (http://www.paulreveresociety.com) I have an extremely strong stomach, have seen some horrible things, but never have I seen such contempt for human life and dignity.
I would strongly recommend that anyone whom is the slightest bit queasy, or never seen actual human traumatic injury don't view this.
However, if you come across a raving Kerry supporter, or one of those door to door get out the multi-votes for Kerry activists, show them this video and ask them (after they've emptied there stomachs) how can they expect anyone from any nation to support a man who wants to treat these animals more sensitively.
The only way to stop these murders is to execute them. Actually that is not a good way to put it. You wouldn't execute a rabid lion that was killing your family and children, you would eradicate it, with extreme prejudice.
I am tired of our nation being the bastion of tolerance (for anything and everything except American Patriotism), I am tired of hearing about other ethnic groups being permitted to do or wear religious or nation emblems and having our children told they cannot display the American Flag! I am tired of the liberal in this nation trying to remake it into a socialist state. And I am tired of them trying to make our children ashamed of our history, our military, and our prosperity.

Bush wins, sporadic isolated violence, then absolute silence and disbelief will set in among the left. (After all, in their minds how can they possibly lose?) There will be a period of self reflection in which the dems look to see what is wrong with their party (e.g as in the last election) and decide nothing is wrong with the ideology, it just the methodology, so next election makes this one look like kindergarten pageant.

Kerry wins, between Nov 3 and Jan 20 sales of AR-15's and AK-47's skyrocket (get em while you can) No immediate violence. Post Jan 20 (1st term) Kerry embarks on "bold" plans to reform country; purposes Universal Health Care, Rolls back tax cuts on "rich" (i.e. families making >160k), pushes for weapons registration programs, demands Assault Weapons bans, Appoints 3 leftist judges to the Supreme Court, Recalls all US forces from Iraq and Afganistan, congress pitted against self and Kerry, NOTHING GETS DONE AT ALL. Fringe right-wing groups increase rhetoric. Kerry meets face to face with N. Korean dictator in secret talks. Agrees to pay for and install 4 additional nuclear reactors in N. Korea if they promise not to misuse them and give us back the spent fuel. N. Korea accepts (2 years later N. Korea has arsenal of 28 nuclear weapons, 18 of which are for sale to the highest bidder). Kerry issues statement to Osama Bin Laden and other global terrorists announce a let bygones be bygones amnesty if they will halt their violent actions.
(2nd term) Kerry manages to campaign for dems in the House and Senate. Republican majority slips in Senate, House deadlocked. Kerry issues executive order to authorize government agency (BATF) to be called in on any domestic police response and conduct search and seizure of firearms at the location (NRA outraged, membership doubles). Right-wing fringe groups begin being more directly combative. Many conservative groups now speaking out. Civil disobedience on the rise. 100's of small business are closing doors due to increased taxes that were hidden inside the "roll back of the tax cut for the rich" bill pushed through by Kerry, national unemployment rises to 6.9%. Kerry proposes new spending package and corporate penalties for American companies laying off workers or exporting jobs. Hidden in the bill are extreme measures and qualifications to protect Heinz corp. Bill doesn't apply to foreign owned companies. Foreign ownership in American companies doubles. (3rd Term) New Universal Health care system starts, major US insurance companies conscripted by government go belly up, insurance rates on auto, home and life skyrocket. Unemployment rises to 8.7% in the first 6 months, 11.4% by years end as major us drug and pharmaceuticals companies close down. US auto union workers strike for better wages, US auto makers close down because they can't compete with Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and others. Unemployment > 13.5%. Civil unrest turns violent, police refuse to involve selves. Kerry asks UN to step in. UN Security council passes resolution making US a ward of the world body, moves "peace keeping forces" into US borders. NRA adopts a new sub-chapter, "USA Constitution Protectorate" (UCP). UCP and UN forces clash, UN demands Kerry denounce UCP and the NRA and declare privately held firearms as illegal. Kerry issues executive order to ban firearms for civilians, declares UCP and the NRA as terrorist organizations, declares military law. 4 million NRA members and 40 million gun owners who think they are members by association take exception and the NRA and UCP merge to become the American Continental Army. ACA and UN forces clash more and more often. Kerry declares their is no civil unrest and everyone is employed and healthy, yet instructs the selective service to implement a draft. (4th term) Desertion rates in US Armed forces enormous. Kerry disbands armed forces of the United States and turns all military hardware over to UN (guns, vehicles, planes, bombs, missiles, tanks, ships, subs, etc) Asks UN to hunt, capture, kill ACA personnel. Civil war breaks out. Fierce fighting in all quarters of the country. Casualties on both sides are staggering.
On Thursday September 11, 2008 at approx. 10:27 am 18 nuclear devices explode in cities around the continental US. 2 in Los Angeles, 2 in Dallas, 2 in New York, 1 in Boston, 2 in Chicago, 1 in Minneapolis, 2 in Washington DC, 2 in Atlanta, 2 in Miami, 1 in San Diego, 1 in Seattle. All produced by N. Korea, All sold to Islamic radical terrorists, all ultimately provided by John F. Kerry.
