Baby boomers hold more real-estate wealth than any other generation. The Silent Generation held that distinction until 2001, according to Michael Kolomatsky's analysis of Federal Reserve Data for The New York Times. As was typical of older generations, many had begun selling their homes to move in with their families or into assisted-living facilities or nursing homes, leaving boomers to take over as the biggest wealth holders in real estate. But boomers are now breaking tradition. They've surpassed the Silent Generation, per the Times' data analysis, holding the most real estate wealth of any generation for the past 20 years....

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – An Indiana resident called an "illegal immigrant" on court documents has been charged with sexually groping two 17-year-old girls on the Fourth of July in a Michigan's Adventure wave pool. Eliazar Rivas-Rodriguez, 29, of Middlebury, Indiana, was arraigned Tuesday, July 7, on two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct involving force or coercion. The arraignment was conducted through a Spanish-speaking interpreter, according to court records.

The National Science Foundation has committed $10 million to build robots that will act as “personal trainers” for children, in an effort to influence their behavior and eating habits. The government has spent $2.15 million so far for the five-year project, which is being led by Yale University. The project, “Robots Helping Kids,” will ultimately “deploy” robots into homes and schools to teach English as a second language, and encourage kids to exercise.

What the hell?...I'm watching C-span and these federal employees standing up and politicking with elected Democrats attacking the GOP in gross violation of the hatch act. These needs to be slapped down and HARD.

RALEIGH - A hearing into the firing of a state trooper accused of mistreating his police dog opened today with a video of the officer kicking the dog as it was suspended from the railing of a loading dock. The 15-second video, taken by another trooper using his cell phone, shows Sgt. Charles L. Jones kicking the dog, Ricoh, five times. The dog was tied to the railing by its leash at the time, with its front paws in the air and its rear paws touching the ground. With each kick, the dog swung about two feet under the dock.
