More than 10,000 people turned out Monday night for a North Houston Tea Party Patriots gathering to protest proposed health care reform and big government spending. On Thursday, in an effort to convince Pakistan to raise taxes on its impoverished masses, Secretary of State Clinton told government officials the United States enforces confiscatory taxation on the American people. A poll released Sunday by the Club for Growth shows Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman surging into the lead in the special election in New York’s 23rd congressional district. He was recently endorsed by Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Fred Thompson, Dick Armey, Tim Pawlenty, Steve Forbes, and area TEA Party Organizers.
