Hmmmmm I generally don't buy into conspiracy theories, but I had this thought that made me say "hmmmm." Follow me in this. The Chicoms paid the Bidens millions by way of Hunter Gatherer Biden. Then the Chicoms inflict the corona virus on us that gave the establishment cover to shut down our economy, and to inflict mail in balloting on us, which brought about the apparent electoral victory of the Bidens. What do the Chicoms expect from the Bidens in return? hmmmmmm.

Efram Zimbalist must be turning in his grave. I'm watching last night's episode of the FBI TV series. It is set in New York City, which in real life is being tor apart by left wing local politicians and their BLM and Antifa friends. Who are the bad guys in the series? A white supremacist group with a patriotic name. This series is off my list.

After years of watching the "news" programs, I have come to the conclusion that whenever a statement is started with the word "look," especially by a politician, everything that follows will be a lie.
  • Costco pulling products allegedly made with forced monkey labor

The alleged use of forced monkey labor has led Costco to stop selling Thai-made coconut products. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has been tracking such animal abuse since 2019, while urging retailers to pull merchandise made from the bad actors to discourage the practice, USA Today reported. “No kind shopper wants monkeys to be chained up and treated like coconut-picking machines,” PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement, according to the outlet. “Costco made the right call to reject animal exploitation, and PETA is calling on holdouts like Kroger to follow suit.” PETA’s investigation found chained-up...

I wrote the following in 1995, and decided to post it because I've been told that yesterday was the anniversary of the sinking of the USS Dorchester taking with it the Four Chaplains, and the Boy Scouts have been getting some attention lately. If I have posted incorrectly, I apologize. I'm not very tech savvy: I wrote the following about my father, and his ideals, two years ago. I am up-dating, because Monday, April 3, 1995,at 11:50 PM, my father's soul was taken into the arms of the Lord. He wore size 6 ½ shoes, but he left giant footprints....

Fake News, Maybe An intercepted phone call: Obama: "How's it going, dude?" Putin: "Barack Barackovitch, to what to I owe pleasure?" Obama: "I have idea, I mean, i-i-i-i- have a great idea to run by you." Putin: "What idea? You have great idea, comrade Barack Barackovitch? Since when?" Obama, "Vlad, how would you like to be dealing with a weak American President?" Putin: "You mean like last eight years?" Obama: "How would you like to be dealing with a weak American President for the next four years?" Putin: "But Hillary lost election." Obama: "I know that." Putin: Ah, Barack Barakovitch,...

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic -- Francis’s father left the family a few hours after he was born. At age 6, Francis was moved by his mother from Haiti to the Dominican border town of Elías Piña so she could search for work. When an earthquake struck Haiti in 2010, Francis’s mother returned home to check on family members. He never heard from her again. Francis, who said he's now 18, has “gone here and there,” since then, living with friends and acquaintances in Elías Piñas before traveling two years ago to the capital, where he works the night shift stocking...

The latest state to challenge monopoly union power is Pennsylvania, where the legislature is debating a "paycheck protection" bill banning automatic dues payments. A political brawl is breaking out, though the Republican Governor has so far offered little support. The SEIU's Pennsylvania State Council says the legislation "threatens collective bargaining rights in Pennsylvania and creates unnecessary and unreasonable restrictions on labor unions." The state AFL-CIO warns the bill "would significantly impair unions' ability to represent their dues and fee paying members." Their real worry is that they'll have less money to spend on politics. The paycheck proposal would prohibit state...
  • Henninger: Big Government Implodes

Mark July 3, 2013, as the day Big Government finally imploded. July 3 was the quiet afternoon that a deputy assistant Treasury secretary for tax policy announced in a blog post that the Affordable Care Act's employer mandate would be delayed one year. Something about the "complexity of the requirements." The Fourth's fireworks couldn't hold a candle to the sound of the U.S. government finally hitting the wall. Since at least 1789, America's conservatives and liberals have argued about the proper role of government. Home library shelves across the land splinter and creak beneath the weight of books arguing the...
  • VP Biden says he heard Nickel Mines shooting gunshots

It's no secret that Vice President Joe Biden has made more than a few gaffes during his political career. His latest: a hard-to-prove comment about a brush with the 2006 school shooting at Nickel Mines. Speaking last week to the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C., Biden made the surprising revelation that he was golfing within earshot of the one-room schoolhouse when a troubled truck driver shot 10 Amish girls, killing five and wounding five. • The End of Birth-Control Politics

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists announced its support last month for selling oral contraceptives over the counter without a prescription in the United States. I agree with this opinion, which if embraced by the federal government would take contraception out of the political arena. As a conservative Republican, I believe that we have been stupid to let the Democrats demagogue the contraceptives issue and pretend, during debates about health-care insurance, that Republicans are somehow against birth control. It's a disingenuous political argument they make. As an unapologetic pro-life Republican, I also believe that every adult (18 years old...

George Shultz has one of the most preposterously impressive résumés in recent American history. World War II Marine (1942-45); distinguished academic economist; business executive; secretary of labor (1969-70); director of the Office of Management and Budget (1970-72); secretary of the Treasury (1972-74); chairman of Ronald Reagan's economic transition team; and the secretary of state (1982-89) who wound down the Cold War. He's also been an active adviser to GOP leaders including George W. Bush in the years since. And, as I just learned, he's not a bad singer either. When I called out of the blue on Wednesday morning, the...
  • A Big Thank You to George W. Bush

George W. Bush did many memorable things during his time in office. He gave us No Child Left Unharmed (officially mistitled “No Child Left Behind”), a massive, unfunded prescription drug benefit (Medicare Part D), and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the real cost of which will ultimately be in the area of $4 trillion. As of last Thursday, however, one could make an argument that his most memorable “achievement” was nominating John Roberts to the Supreme Court. What a super pick that turned out to be. Clearly, Bush knows a stealth liberal when he sees one. (I’m not buying the...
  • Residents protest proposed smoking ban in York Housing Authority homes

    York (PA) Daily Record ^ | June 13, 2012 | EMILY OPILO
York, PA - When Blaine Bosserman was searching for an apartment, he stayed with his mother until he could find a building that allowed smoking. And when he settled upon a high rise in the 400 block of East King Street owned by York's housing authority, Bosserman, 45, made sure there were no conditions in the lease that would prevent him from lighting up inside. But a proposed ban on smoking in the York Housing Authority's 1,068 units countywide could soon force Bosserman to extinguish his cigarettes. Pending approval of the authority's board and the U.S. Department of Housing and...

About the best that can be said about the Republican attacks on Mitt Romney's record at Bain Capital is that President Obama is going to do the same thing eventually, so GOP primary voters might as well know what's coming. Yet that hardly absolves Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry and others for their crude and damaging caricatures of modern business and capitalism.
