Let a miracle election be a start of a revival that will sustain us for the future. Open the eyes, minds and hearts of those who do not know the Truth. By Your grace, please heal our nation. I just made some calls in support of McCain/Palin. I've never done this before. It is really easy. Go to JohnMcCain.com, go to Action, and make phone calls. They'll supply the numbers and the script! They need every effort they can get. Remember, Obama is paying people to do this...
  • O.C. suspicions over Obama's citizenship continue

Even some supporters of John McCain are dismayed with fellow Orange County Republicans who think Barack Obama was born outside of the U.S. and does not meet the requirements to be president. An OC Political Pulse poll found that a third of responding Republicans thought Obama was born outside of the 50 United States. One GOP participant then wrote me to say she suspected those results were caused by non-Republicans gaming the poll, presumably to make Republicans look kooky.

IRVINE - An Irvine councilman has questioned his political opponent's work with what he called a "dangerous" Islamic advocacy group with alleged terrorist ties, drawing the ire of many in the local Muslim community who described the comments as divisive and false. The comments by Councilman Steven Choi came at the close of a recent Chamber of Commerce election forum attended by the dozen candidates for Irvine office. Choi cautioned the audience of business and community leaders not to vote for a candidate who works for the Council on American-Islamic Relations – commonly known as CAIR – which he described...

This NEEDS to get out. Obama keeps saying that he will only raise taxes on people making over $250K. What he leaves out is he wants to DOUBLE the corporate tax rate. McCain/Palin needs to explain that raising corporate taxes raises the cost for EVERYONE. They use examples like food corporations, gas companies, service companies, etc. Ask the question during rallies, "What do you think would happen to the price of goods and services when you double the tax on the companies providing them?" Bottom line... COMPANIES DON'T PAY TAXES, PEOPLE DO!

Barack Obama on Thursday criticized lawmakers who are holding up a deal on the $700 billion financial bailout plan, saying they need to clarify their objections so an agreement can be reached that will save the economy from further damage. The Democratic presidential nominee spoke in a round of television interviews after a White House meeting also attended by Republican presidential rival John McCain. Obama said he left thinking they will reach a deal, but some work still needs to be done.

McCain's remarks today: I'm happy to be introduced by Governor Palin, but I can't wait until I introduce her to Washington. Let me offer an advance warning to the big spending, greedy, do nothing, me first, country second crowd in Washington and on Wall Street: change is coming. We need reform in Washington and on Wall Street. The financial markets are in crisis. Times are tough. Enormous strain is being put on working families and individuals in America. I know that the events unfolding can be difficult to understand for many Americans. The dominos that we have seen fall this...

Thursday, July 17, 2008 The Real Reasons: Things are not always what they appear to be.....particularly in Washington. Sometimes, the real reason that a bill is changed, or shelved, or amended is not what the spin and press reports say. Two such instances have occurred here recently. The first has to do with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) which was finally passed by the Senate and was signed into law by President Bush last week. This bill has been held up in negotiations and partisan fighting all year. Most people believe that the hold up was because civil libertarians...

Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is: Earlier this week, Senator Hillary Clinton said "We didn't ask for George Bush's tax cuts. We didn't want them and we didn't need them." Earlier this year, Warren Buffett testified before Congress saying in part "I think we need to....take a little more out of the hides of guys like me." Barbara Streisand once said "Republicans cater to the rich. I'd rather pay more taxes, see social reform, health care and research for AIDS." All of these people could have voluntarily paid more in taxes. But they chose not to. Maybe that's because...

FEBRUARY 5--As if anyone needs another glimpse into the lunacy that is Britney Spears's life (and that of her assorted footmen and paparazzi cohorts), the singer's mother has filed a court declaration purporting to describe how her troubled daughter came under the sway of a manipulative manager who drugged the pop star and drove her further from reality. In a Los Angeles Superior Court filing, Lynne Spears describes a series of increasingly bizarre episodes at her daughter's Los Angeles home, where the performer was regularly in the company of businessman Osama (Sam) Lutfi.

From Congressman John Campbell 's laptop to yours: Friday, May 11th, 2007 Final Warning of the Week: As bad as the stuff I sent you earlier in the week was, this next item may be the worst. Prepare thyself. Intelligence: Last night (or actually about 12:30AM this morning), the House passed a bill to fund our intelligence operations (CIA, NSA etc.). Many of the details of this bill are classified. But here's what I can tell you. Included in this bill you will find a directive from Congress that makes our intelligence agencies study global warming. Regardless of what you...

From Congressman John Campbell 's laptop to yours: Thursday, May 10th, 2007 New Warning: OK, I'm having to keep my desk clear now of any objects that can be thrown.  Otherwise, I would be tossing stuff all over the place.  The Democratic majority is just going haywire here with their reverence for illegal immigration, increased taxes, union bosses, and trial lawyers. And giving you all a daily dose of what I am seeing back here in Washington may get under your skin too.  So, those of you who prefer lower taxes, legal immigration, free markets, and sensible litigation reform, may want...

From Congressman John Campbell's laptop to yours: Thursday, April 19th, 2007 Happy Tax Day: Tuesday was the day your 2006 federal income taxes were due. It is not a day I like very much, and I suspect that most of you don't either. If you made more than $87,300 last year, which constitutes the top 10 percent of incomes in the nation, you are in a group that paid 70.8 percent of all taxes. That figure, by the way is up from 48.1 percent of all taxes paid by the top 10 percent in 1979. If you make more than...

Our hearing lasted from 10 AM yesterday until 1 AM this morning. And the Budget that the Democrats proposed and approved (without my support) contained huge spending increases and the largest tax increase in American history. Below are the details of this proposal, which will be considered on by the whole House next week: * Their budget proposes the largest tax increase in American history - The Democrat's budget calls for...

Fri Nov 17, 11:45 AM ET BEIRUT (Reuters) - French peacekeepers prepared to fire at two Israeli warplanes flying low over their position in south Lebanon on Friday but did not launch their missiles, a UNIFIL spokesman said. ADVERTISEMENT Milos Struger said that during one of the day's 14 Israeli air violations of Lebanese airspace two F-15s flew low and at high speed over the area of Jabal Maroun where French troops are positioned, while two Israeli drones circled the area. "UNIFIL anti-aircraft batteries took essential preparatory action to respond in accordance with regulations of self-defense," Struger told Reuters by...

U.S. Sen. John McCain and Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman are visiting the Lone Star State this evening as a way to beef up the coffers of the Straight Talk America PAC. The soiree starts with a reception at the Dallas home of Cinda and Tom Hicks; then the well-heeled Republicans will move on to dinner at the Dallas home of former Texas Gov. Bill Clements and his wife, Rita. Forgive us if Fort Worth doesn't shout "howdy" from this side of the fence. We're having a hard time trying not to choke on some of the more glaring...

Why Did America Really Invade Iraq? The stated reason by the Bush Administration for invading Iraq was that Saddam possessed weapons of mass destruction and was prepared to use them against Israel, Iraq’s other neighbors, and possibly America.1 There are some that believe that the real reasons why America invaded Iraq are found in events and policy development that happened before the invasion but which were never revealed to the American public. There are two such reasons suggested: First, to ensure that the dollar remained unchallenged as the world’s reserve currency, so that the U.S. could continue to fund its...
