Listening to Rush Limbaugh just now made me realized another facet to Romney's debate strategy and how it translates into effective foreign policy; let the other side think they've scored points, all the while progressing your agenda... of course, effective foreign policy means delivering for the American people without sacrificing American (constitutional) values, or wasting American blood and treasure. Why is it that Obama won the second and third debates, at least by MSM standards, and yet, Romney has just won the world series of politics? That is not an easy question for a simple man like me to answer....

Taken as a whole, the three debates lined up together, you'd have to say that Romney was the consistent one, emotionally "even-keeled" and mentally "wide-awake"; he was respectful while critiquing Obama's failures. Obama was not as consistent, not so "even-keeled", somewhat petulant and seemed too eager to score petty points; though he displayed well his smarts. But smart & wise do not occupy the same space. Romney displayed that he too, is smart, though probably not as quick of wit as Obama. But what's more than smart, Romney also exudes a kind-of, kindred spirit with wisdom, something which seems foreign...
