If in fact Donahue had a conversation with the convening authority on Hutchins’ case before the decision was rendered, that constitutes unethical behavior on both Donahue and Helland’s part. it’s like the judge in a civilian case discussing his upcoming bench decision with a member of the audience in the courtroom, for God sake. It can help Larry to show that there were behind the scenes meetings going on.

I don’t understand how else to explain it. I don’t understand how YOU don’t understand. Again, not trying to fight with you at all...just explaining why I’m doing what I’m doing. I know that you consider Larry a friend—as do I. But putting up cash for an appeal, when you know you can’t introduce any of the evidence they blocked last time...what does that get you? Especially when you demand that the support system Larry’s known for 2 years just goes away, or you take your money and go home? There’s more to this than you think.

As for lily, again...you forget that I was on the Girouard case for a long, long time. As we say in Oklahoma, this isn’t my first rodeo. (And that in itself is a freaking shame!) I know that case almost as well as I know the P8 case, including lily’s role in the aftermath. I’m not looking to bash her. As I mentioned earlier, I have no beef with lily at all except for how she jumps on people here she doesn’t know. She doesn’t know me, doesn’t know jack about me, and yet talks as if I’m somehow the village idiot who couldn’t possibly know as much as she.

At any rate, you know how to find me if you want to talk about this further. There’s a lot of information that I can share with you that may shed some light on the Donahue situation if you’re interested in knowing the truth. But I’ve no wish to go back and forth on FR with 8 million people jumping on things and thinking this is an internet peeing match.

I trust you care about truth, and so if you want to talk further, my email is 2alpha6@gmail.com.

I never referred to your actions, lily. Please leave me off that list of folks you think are sitting here rubbing your face in things.

By the way, my grandma once told me that “people will give you the side of themselves you ask for, most of the time.” Maybe think about that while you’re running around here being rude and insulting to folks you don’t know.

RR, if they’re liars, is it a bad thing to have them go?

    (Not referring to you, obviously.)

I don’t know what happened between you and Tim, and I don’t really care. We’re not a collective, and we all think for ourselves ...it’s just that when it comes down to it, we all operate from a basic point of integrity and therefore any differences can be worked out. You can’t work out lies.

I’m also not “slamming” anyone—for that implies an unprovoked attack against an innocent party. The most I’m doing at the moment is exposing a liar (Donahue) and watching lilycicero walk around with her skirt tucked into her pantyhose. Both of which, yes, I have to admit...are oddly amusing.

LOL. Good Lord. I take back what I said...you ARE funny.

You’re right...no one’s ever heard of me outside FR, and everything I do is part of my neverending desire for fame and fortune, which as we all know will come if I keep defending Marines and soldiers against the government.

Lily, you don’t know me, so don’t make assumptions. Just go on your merry way, okay? I’ll even let you have a parting shot, since I can tell you’re not the kind of person to let anyone else have the last word. No, sirree.

Donahue is not donating his own money. He’s using funds that he claims his organization raised, among others. Of course, that’s what he says in emails. As we all know, he’s lied in email before, so what’s to say what the truth is?

And RR, I’m kind of surprised at you. You’re pooh-poohing the whole thing and saying basically “So what if he exaggerated about his contact with Helland?” As long as you’ve been following this case, I’d have expected better.

You know that if Helland discussed the case with Donahue, that’s unethical at best—especially if they discussed an appeal before Helland even made his decision. If Donahue is “exaggerating,” as you put it, then he is a liar. Keep in mind he also claims to have been speaking with Mattis. His entire control operation on the Hutchins case was initially predicated on his claims that he had already talked to Helland and had everything worked out.

Think about this. One of two things is true: Either he engaged in unethical conduct and bragged about it, or he LIED about engaging in unethical conduct, threatened to SUE someone for catching his lie, and then threatened to sue someone for calling him OUT on it. This type of conduct is okay with you?

I don’t care if he’s putting up cash. That’s a lack of integrity, of honor—basic things that Larry Hutchins himself believes in following to the death.

You ask what exposing the Major will accomplish. You’d be surprised. Right now Donahue and McDermott have tried to shut down Larry’s support system. Those of us who have been here supporting Larry through visits and letters and the information battle are literally “barred” from going to see him because we may influence him and Donahue says we’ll hurt his appeal. All of us, who have been there for him financially, physically, or emotionally, have been told to go away. Tell me how taking the rug out from under that Marine can help him. Tell me how it’s okay for Donahue—who we can all admit probably LIED about his involvement with the convening authority—to come along, throw a few thousand cash around, and start making demands? It’s not about personal vendetta—it’s about truth. Period.

    Ya hi. Here’s a clue:

    - All the cases are related, from the investigators to the attorneys to the players. It’s not a hijack.

    - Donahue is engaged in half these cases, or trying to be. Your friend, of all people, is well aware of what happens when the Major gets involved.

Good grief. Why you’re running your mouth to people you don’t know is beyond me—especially when they haven’t said a word to you. I wasn’t the one who posted the article here, but I’ll go post my own thread. Do me a favor and stay off of it.

Just wanted to say I really appreciate the backup. =) Very sweet of you.

I hate these “internet wars.” I really do. But like I told RedRover, I seek truth, however dirty and ugly it ends up being. And to me, anyone whose goal is also truth and the freedom of Larry Hutchins would welcome throwing open the closet doors, operating with transparency, and calling into question things that stink—like Major Donahue’s modus operandi. End of story.

    Thanks again. ;)

    RedRover,

You said “Have you achieved ANYTHING except turn people away from lifting a finger to help the accused?...You and them are welcome to dislike me. I really don’t care. But to go after people the way and your friends do is absolutely disgusting and shows not one bit of real concern for the accused.”

I’m the one who wrote that article—not Race, and not flightline. I have the information to back it up. I am well aware of who Donahue is, what he’s done in the past, and what he continues to do in this case.

My intent is not to “trash” anyone, and believe me when I say I’ve done far more on this case than you think. I’m not looking to “turn people away from lifting a finger to help the accused,” either. However, what I AM doing, and what I will continue to do, is find the truth and print it.

I have watched, over the last two years, people come and go in the effort to free the Pendleton 8, and now Larry Hutchins. I’ve watched folks jump on the bandwagon, then off again. And to be frank with you, I don’t really care about any of those folks. The guys who I have had the honor of working with on this case and others have been here the whole time, looking for truth just as I am.

I have been in these trenches longer than Larry Hutchins has been in the brig. He’s not my first case, and he has not been the last one. And to be honest, I’m not playing games and politics and “friends.”

The bottom line is quite simple: I’m not going to dance around so I don’t offend someone. If they’re a proven liar, like Major Donahue is, then their name will appear in an article with my byline on it. I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to get the truth, get it out, and use it to free a Marine who deserves better.

I was finally able to get into the backend of the cpanel and from there I just altered the user tables to get back in to WP. Now I can look at the extent of the damage...they freaking GUTTED my site. Pieces of @&*^@#. ANYWAY.

It’ll take a few days, but I’m sure I can get the site running again at least.

Can someone please take screenshots of it as is before I start cleaning the mess? I have no capability on this computer of doing that.

Actually, they deleted exactly two years’ worth of posts. Nothing more.

Which is interesting, because two years ago this month is when I started writing about the Pendleton 8.

The user database is gone as well, along with categories, tags, and anything else even remotely containing anything about the Pendleton 8.

And for those saying “didn’t she think of a backup?”...of course I did. This isn’t my first rodeo, ya know. ;) They GOT the backups. I have nightly ones done. They’re all gone, as I mentioned.

I had nightly backups on two servers. All are gone.

I had offsite backups. They are gone.

They got in all the way to the cpanel and deleted databases under two domains. I am currently working to try and get back into the site enough to fix it.

And no. I don’t think it was Islamics. Here’s a list of the recent hits on my site:
