When you are the kid of an SSI or are on SSI yourself, you will get the FULL GRANT treatment. Fafsa/PELL at $4,200 plus year 1 of CalGRANT at over ,$1,500, then the following years over $9,700 from CalGRANT ‘Entitlement’ Grant, until it is broke as it already is.
That’s why they cut IHSS. Because the Elderly and very Disabled POOR are not the only one’s getting IHSS. It’s going to the live in girlfriends or boyfriends to “cook” for the one on SSI. Now, that adds up to a pretty penny.
You have the Guy getting $907 from SSI & SSP, in Cali, the woman getting a check till’ all the kids turn 16, plus the woman getting an IHSS check to “cook” for the guy that’s on SSI, and all the kids getting a check cause’ the guy is on SSI. SSI is the biggest TAX REVENUE SUCKING SYSTEM OF ALL THE Social ‘Entitlement’ Programs.
Now the BIGGEST QUESTION is this:
What will Obama do when he legalizes all the illegals and ALL of them will qualify for SSI?
They can go straight to Social Security offices across the nation and stand in line to apply & qualify for SSI.
And, they WILL.
There’s going to be TV cameras with thousands of newly legalized former illegals applying for SSI.
Their ENTIRE FAMILY will qualify for an SSI check this way.
The WHOLE family that’s living with the ‘Head of Household’ will all get an SSI check, TAX FREE, no Work Required.

I know a thing or two about SSI-Supplemental Security Income because I have lived for 11 years in a tiny California town where 90% of the residents have lived their entire lives on nothing but SSI.
SSI-receipients may own a home of ANY VALUE OR ANY SIZE WHATSOEVER, free and clear, inherited, whatever, they can own a home if they so wish worth $450,000, does not matter.
The HOME-1 Home of an SSI recipient does not count.
So, 90% of the townspeople that live off SSI, own their homes!
This is WHY, SSI in California that kicks in an extra amount, tax free, called SSP is so valueable to the recipients.
They definately have their cake and eat it too! LITERALLY!
They get $907 of tax free bucks per individual OR $1,579 per couple, tax free, never having to work a single day in their entire lifetime.
It is the GOAL of every single teenager in this community to get straight onto SSI/SSP.
Why?
Because when they were a kid and did not care about attending school, just wanting to sleep in and get up at noon like their SSI/SSP parents, they did this and failed in school, So during their school years, the councelors and teachers get together and put together a package plan called IEP, or Special Ed for these kids.
This means, the Teachers & Councelors, speech-pathologists, psycologists and many others GET PAID TO QUALIFY THE KID FOR IEP/Special Ed, and the kid becomes ELIGABLE FOR SSI/SSP!
This means the kid get’s a check, tax free, work free, for $907 per month in Cali.
$674 in other states that don’t supplement like broke Cali does.
When the kids is 18 they get a ‘Review’, usually very simple, a form, a phone call interview, sometimes they have to go into an SS Office, but it’s very little.
They STAY qualified for the rest of their entire lives this way for SSI! A Guaranteed Obama tax free-work free check!
