  • Hagel: Iran Has Legitimate, Elected Government (Barfus Maximus)

Why no tough questions for Kerry? Only 3 votes against, followed by a lovefest. The EGOP disgust me. Neither is fit for office, and there are no conservative Senators, save Cruz. Blunt and McCaskill are my senators and I emailed Blunt to ask in what ways he differed from McCaskill, because you could not tell by his recent voting record.

I saw it in 3D with the family. I only go to the theater once a year (hate bankrolling the American hating hollywood ingrates). I did enjoy the movie. Didn’t much care for radagast brown with bird poop down the side of his face nor his wicker sled pulled by rabbits at Mach 2. The fight/flee scene in the mountain had me thinking I was watching an extended “Raiders of the Lost Ark” roller coaster scene. If I had it to do over, I would watch again. 7/10

  • Palin to stump for Steelman in Missouri

I second those remarks. I am a conservative Christian and resident of Missouri and am shocked at the shallow comments posted here. Steelman is NOT to be trusted and Palin doesn’t always get it correct in her endorsements. I watched the Republican candidates debate a month or so ago and Steelman was woefully unprepared, unable to provide coherent answers to straightforward questions. Akin is very good; almost too slick but has a fairly solid voting record. I am a skeptic when it comes to returning the very same incumbents to office who have not performed to get our budget balanced. I am leaning towards Brunner because he is an outsider, followed by Akin. There’s no chance I will vote for Steelman; only in general election over McCaskill if I must.

  • Amendment Offered Today: No Same-Sex Marriages on Military Bases or by Chaplains

Let me clue some of you folks in on something...man may say, or even pass a law defining marriage as between two women or two men; it does not make it so. Marriage IS between a man and a woman. Period. “for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” It appears evil abounds more and more as man depends on his own wisdom.

  • Brunner's late-tax revelation may take heat off McCaskill (Missouri U.S. Senate race)

I agree! Steelman is NOT the answer. She was horrible in the Republican candidate debates, stuttering and stammering with incoherent, rambling answers. She also voted against tort reform in Missouri when Holden (D) was governor. She is a lawyer along with her husband and comes from a long line of lawyers beholden to the MO bar. Akin sounds good, but I prefer Brunner. Read the news article and you will see that there is nothing to the story. Enough of the McConnells, Boehners, Blunts(who endorsed Romney), etc. What have they done for us lately.
