I would expect nothing less from a Jack. Amazing little dogs. Brave as a lion, stone cold killers of vermin. Most are very sweet and cuddly. Always up for an adventure.

Strange, the powers that be didn’t seem to be upset when my son and thousands of other Americans spent twenty years in less than lavish accommodations in foreign deserts.

There is still a lot of swamp and forests in Alabama too. There are critters in there that are not there according to the experts. Large cats for example. Another non existent animal that’s not here is the fisher cat. Big weasel looking animal. My Great Dane killed one right in front of me. By the time I got a camera, the dogs had run off with it. I found out what it was years later.
The current black district in Alabama is in the center of the state from Montgomery to the Mississippi border. This is the heaviest black population. To create another district will really take some fancy gerrymandering. They may have to redo the current district and run another from Birmingham to Mobile. It should be interesting. It will make the other districts deeper red. I live in the current district.
Exactly. Long term Air Guard family here. We are in very bad shape if a lowly, no stripe Guard troop has the ability to see and steal top secret info. Absolutely unbelievable!

Hogs are the ultimate eating machine. They are terrestrial sharks. The feral hogs that are running wild in many rural areas are just awful. They eat everything in their paths, fawns, nesting birds, new calves, anything that can’t get away. I came up on a small group that had just found a downed buck. I’m not a wuss, but it was awful. They had it consumed in ten minutes.

If human activity causes warming, the period of 1940-1975 should have caused quite a bit of warming. I should think the massive movements of troops, equipment, etc. would have warmed things up. Not to mention atomic bombs and testing. Battleships firing guns, artillery, and every other thing involved in a world war. Strange.

I worked for a very good company that was bought out by Dillards. My company was good to it’s personnel. Dillards was awful. Everything that was said here is true. I was fortunate in that the distribution center I worked at was closed. The poor folks at the stores were screwed. Legal means nothing to the company. They used social security numbers as employee numbers. Medical records were not kept properly and so on. I would stand on a street corner before I would work for them.

Any one that uses a pickup to haul livestock will not want an electric truck. Pulling a load of cattle to the stockyard or your horse to a roping or horse show will be a possible nightmare. When you are hauling animals, you can’t just pull over and plug in. If it is hot, you risk dead or sick animals. Even if the weather is good, the longer the animals stay loaded the more likely you are going to have problems.
I absolutely love being in Alabama. A real hidden jewel. We are fixin to move from central Alabama down to the coast. Most of us carry so this type of thing doesn’t surprise me. Don’t mess with good’ol Alabama boys.

They just opened the third one in Alabama and are building a fourth one. The one in Baldwin county (south Alabama on the Gulf) was the first one built outside of Texas. We have land down there and I was amazed when I saw it the first time. I knew it had to have come from Texas.
