    stupid typo

    71% plus 46% = 117%

    71% say McCain qualified
    29% say Obama qualified
17% padding added to Obama’s number to make it look closer that it is.

I never claim math to be my best subject but 71% plus 45% = 116%.... Or should that be 71% say McCain is qualified 29% say Obama Qualified and 16% padding to Obama to make it look closer than it is?

Agree whole heartedly. In our morning worship service we have been going through the book of James and it is both challenging and encouraging.

Consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish it’s work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
    James 1:2-4

James wastes little time and gets right to the point. We shouldn’t be surprised that we face trials of many kinds the author doesn’t say “if you face trials of many kinds” but rather states the fact that trials will come. God work everything together for the good of those who Love him. These trials are for our good no matter how difficult. They are meant to guide us on the path of righteousness. There are so many passages and promises that are precious to us as believers that even though we live in a crazy world, an unknown future ahead, uncertain times. One thing we can be certain is that nothing is unknown to God and the future to come is God’s future, in God’s timing, and in accordance with his good and perfect will.

God Bless Sarah Palin an all those in the public eye who are not afraid to stand up and speak a word for God and his Glory. It’s humbling when I think of the times I’ve kept my mouth shut and I didn’t have a mob waiting to lynch me the moment I dare mention God’s name with reverence instead of as a cheap curse word. It takes a lot of courage to stand up and say what she said. Much more courage than some queer proclaiming they are gay and the world welcoming them with open arms and applauding them for their “courage.”

God is my Commander in Chief.

Here’s another way to look at this. Let’s say for argument’s sake that he prevails and The One is ordered to remove himself from the Ballot. Who then becomes the Dem nominee will have a snowballs chance in florida of winning. You can just imagine the storm that will follow in the media and the moonbats about how we “stole another election” by means of lawyers and dirty tricks and deceit, even though the right thing was done by the constitution. Can you imagine the plea and demand to change the constitution to allow Bambi to stay in the race and receive his due coronation? The real disturbing trend is that the rats continuously push the boundary of what the public will accept vs what the public will not support. They keep pushing that boundary further and further. Al Gore and his count the ballots till I win legal strategy in an election that never once showed he won somehow deemed illegitimate but had Gore succeeded he’d have somehow been legitimate? My fear in 2004 was that we’d have the same thing reports prior to the the election about Kerry having a legal swat team on call. But to his credit he did the first honorable thing in his life by conceding and not launching Legal challenges. Perhaps even he knew the public would not be the least bit happy about that. Here we have Barack who has been issued a free pass on any past indiscretions or associations or questionable upbringing can do no wrong.

As much as I’d like to see him forced off the ballot to keep him out of the White House. I’d almost rather see it happen through the normal election process and see MeCain beat him fair and square. Besides I wouldn’t put any stock in this actually going anywhere.

As a fellow Hoosier I’m with you, it is getting so annoying and if the non-stop ads weren’t enough his supporters that I have to work with are even more annoying if you can imagine that. They get into their little group huddles and chuckle over the latest youtube vid of SNL, or steven colbare (sp?) or what ever anti-McCain Palin site or email they happen to be passing around. With these people if you don’t like Obama you must be racist... because it can’t be because you dislike his proposed policies, his character, or the people he hangs with. It must be racism.

If it weren’t so sad it would be amusing. When they find someone who supports McCain Palin who talks about he actual issues they are on them like a pack of wolves and gang up.

I’m pleased with our state looking more and more safe for McCain. I would be extremely saddened if the Hoosier state voted for that empty suit.

My idea of a perfect Nov 4th would be that leading up to it according to the media was a slam dunk landslide for Obama but instead turned out to be a landslide the other way. I know that won’t happen and that it will be close but I’m still hoping that McCain can pop BHO’s proud bubble on Election night. The next major speech I want to hear Barack deliver is a concession speech. I’m so sick of this self-important pompous, you know what. I hope he goes down in flames.

  • Statement On Obama Campaign's Letter To Justice Department On Voter Fraud

Sadly I agree, Opportunity was there but was squandered. In some respects I almost think that kind of lack of action/initiative by Republicans has done as much or more to sour conservative voters rather than a surge in liberalism. The party has become more soft and passive and in effect help enable and embolden the left. The Republican Party needs true strong leadership. The liberals stood up to them and the republican’s caved. We need people that can energize and bring new life to the party without abandoning values the party stands for. I have a hard time believing that America at it’s core is half full of lemmings willingly lead off the cliff.

This Election cycle has me down. McCain isn’t my ideal choice but he’s 100 times better than the fraud on the other side of the fence. I may not like or agree with everything he says or believes but I’ve always respected him because he’s willing to stand for what he believes in even if it means he stands alone. I doubt Obama would ever willingly stand alone. To me that shows more character than someone who’s more concerned about how he “appears” to those he’s with or speaking to at the time.

What makes me sad is this sense of inevitability that McCain may make it close but will come up short. It saddens me that we’ve seemed to reach a point where it’s no longer considered good to have core values to have character, to stand for something. Instead we seem to champion those who are wishy washy, spineless, and have no core values or beliefs, because they are “open minded” We’ve so elevated the indecisive in this country to satisfy a growing pluralistic mindset. This election isn’t about winning or losing but rather what’s at stake. The principles this country was founded on are under attack and I almost see this as the turning point for this country. Will we chose to abandon our roots and blindly give ourselves over to a socialist government or will those like us who firmly believe in the founding father’s vision for this country stand up and say no to the direction this country is headed.

What makes me angry, is going to work in a department of 9 people of which I’m the only conservative. I find it absolutely amazing how blindly these people have bought into Bambi’s BS. To these sheeple if you don’t vote for Bambi you are in effect a Racist. They spend company time passing along emails and signs with slogans like “McSame-Failin” and have their little group huddles where they laugh and make fun of anything McCain Palin, and anyone who doesn’t think the way they do or isn’t voting for Bambi is an uninformed idiot. It’s good to know they are open minded *rolls eyes* Trying to talk to them is like talking to a child though I know many children who are better critical thinkers. Rarely if ever do they actually discuss plans, policies, etc. it usually reduces itself to name calling, and slander. According to them Bambi clearly won all three debates, and Biden clearly one the VP debate. They question everything McCain says either in a speech, debate, etc or in his ads but believe everything that Bambi says. Frankly it’s like watching the national news or SNL’s take on the debates. They are dumbfounded that Bambi isn’t running away with the election and I’m dumbfound that there are enough naive people in this country willing to vote for a fraud.

I hope I am wrong, I hope that McCain can win the election, I have my doubts, but more than losing an election I fear what an unchecked Liberal government will do. Today is Oct 18th and there are 18 days to go in this presidential election. I recommend that we make it a point to pray daily if not more than once daily for McCain-Palin. As a Christian I draw comfort from knowing that no matter how insane things seem here on earth and in this life God is still my commander in chief and is in control of all. He raises up leaders as he choses. It doesn’t mean we are called to sit by and do nothing but but encourages us to continue to fight. I also have to keep in mind that this world will pass away and he’ll bring a new heaven and a new earth. I encourage all to join with me in praying for our nation. With God anything is possible. Send revival, start with me.

I agree, when Bush speaks from the heart he can be very eloquent, moving, and uplifting. This was a very solid delivery and you can just see the media watching closely for any flub they can play and replay over and over. What we got was a truly sincere from the heart speech. It also contained the sense of humor that is often understated with the “traded up” and “believe me, I know.” Sadly much of America has been robbed of the opportunity to get to know the true George W. Bush due to one of the the largest media smear campaigns I can think of. God Bless George and Laura.

I plan on sending off a letter of encouragement to Sarah and John. I’d encourage others to do so as well. These two are going to need our prayers and support through what could be a real battle. But I think the rats have truly underestimated their opponent. Let’s hope and pray we are celebrating a McCain win in November.

Watching what should be coverage of the convention on PBS. But rather it’s been an hour and a half discussion of Palin’s daughter and how it should be off limits with the occasional footage of the convention while we listen to the blab. If her child should be off limits as they claim, then shut the heck up and talk about real issues.

The thing that doesn’t tends to get missed is just because a large number of Americans and the media don’t know much about Sarah doesn’t mean that McCain and his people didn’t either. I try not to let it get to me but the more they talk about that or her requesting earmarked funds as a mayor makes my blood boil. I have to keep reminding myself that they are panicking and are scrambling for whatever dird they can find that they can escalate into a scandal hoping they can pressure John to drop her from the ticket. She scares them to death.

I watched a special that someone put on YouTube, about how BHO literally sent a team of layers to go through and scrutinize each and every signature of his opponents. Using every possible technicality or loophole to throw out signatures till his opponents were eliminated from the ballot. By doing so he ran un-opposed. It makes me think we haven’t seen dirty yet. I hope I’m wrong but I’m bracing for some shady crap being pulled by the a desperate rat party.

I can’t wait for the debates. Both the Presidential and the Vice Presidential debates. From what I gather Biden can get flustered somewhat easy. She’s going to eat him alive. Could be quite entertaining.

The McCain and BHO debates should be interesting as well. When Someone give Obama the information he sounds halfway intelligent. Let him go off on his own and he is lost and starts making stuff up.

I thought Bill Clinton was a phony this guy give that word a whole new shine. The rats are living up to their mascot.
