It was after that night, September 20, 2001, that I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I was in full support of President Bush. No question. And I continue to be.

Bernard Kerik, former NYPD Commissioner, said it best when he told the 9/11 Commission that “no perfect radio exists” and “God help New York” if it should get attacked a third time. Most importantly, he cautioned that we must “remain preemptive,” because if we think we are safe from terrorism, and that our war is almost over, then we are sadly mistaken.

U.S. soldiers are lambasted for being "immoral" and "inhuman" for posing Iraqi prisoners in sexually humiliating positions. All the while "immoral" and "inhuman" are the same words being used to describe the beheading of Nick Berg. Sexual humiliation and beheadings are very different things.

I like to think our leaders were as clueless as the rest of us, and are now furious and demanding justice in the same way.

Apparently, in the liberal arena, the Bible is a lot like Ponderosa Steak House. Grab a tray and pick the parts you like. The rest you can just toss aside.

While I don't support hiring minorities simply because they are minorities, I find it arrogant and presumptuous of Kerry to think he's "in touch" with Blacks and Hispanics because he has attended a Black church once or twice, or because he has appeared on MTV. It's arrogant and presumptuous to think that Blacks and Hispanics are so stupid, that's all it takes to win their vote.

While Syrian officials are still categorically denying that Al Qaeda entered Jordan through their country, this one tidbit of trivia appears to be the last missing link in the scenerio. However, other details of this case are painting a tell-tale “big picture” that should not surprise anyone who supports our President’s efforts in the War On Terror.

The U.S. death toll is important, sad, and should be a national headline. But the Jordanian terror bust should be even more so, since that is what we are fighting to combat in the first place. And nobody wants to touch the story with a 10-foot pole, because it could potentially force the other side to send up a white flag of their own.

It seems we serve a multi-purpose Jesus. Anyone can take the texts of Scripture and form it into any mold they choose. Jesus flipped over tables in the temple. Maybe Jesus had anger management issues? If it sounds ridiculous, that's because it is.

Maureen Dowd of the New York Times credits Richard Clarke with being the first to admit wrong-doing, and praises him for his willingness to apologize to 9/11 families for failing to protect them. The rest of the administration, she would argue, ought to do the same.

Excellent debate this week at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, between Shaunti Feldhahn and Diane (arg!) Glass over whether or not the morning-after pill can be considered abortion. As difficult as this might be to understand for non-Christian liberals, I have always been pro-life. Even before I was a conservative Christian (admittedly, I was very young) I was against abortion. The reasons against it seemed pretty obvious then, and they are even more clear to me now. Whether or not the mother intended to get pregnant or not really isn't the point, at least not to me. Those Democrats sure know how to get lippy, don't they? President Bush's humorous references to the hunt for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq have drawn criticism from Democrats as inappropriate for wartime. The White House and Republicans contend the president was just poking fun at himself. How ironic. Let's talk about what is "inappropriate for wartime," shall we? How about Sen. John Kerry's assertation that, "What we need now is not just a regime change in Saddam Hussein and Iraq, but we need a regime change in the United States"? A few weeks ago, I had the good fortune of being able to see Mel Gibson’s “The Passion Of The Christ.” I was excited about it from the moment I first heard about it, over a year ago. Before the movie even hit theaters, people who had seen advanced screenings warned us, “You can’t see this film and not be changed.” I’m a skeptic in many ways, but I went into this film with an open mind, and I was expecting to be moved.
