Eric Hoag announced a "stealth" or, covert, "Day of Silence" being offered in some of the Sacramento schools today (Elk Grove was mentioned). He even had a copy of another school which lent its' letterhead to the event soliciting support from the community.A caller to the show mentioned that an unnamed Democrat from California stood up during the 1-minute openings of the U.S. House "seeking bi-partisan" support for this event in the California schools. Tonight I was able to contribute in a small way towards Bush's win of the Presidential Election. I, along with seven other volunteers, made hundreds of calls throughout Long Beach to rally the local Republicans to get out and vote.After arriving at the office location around dinner time, we were all given packages with lists of names (generated from voting records) and their party affiliations. This morning's show had a segment where host Charles Gibson revealed the results of an ABC poll on Hillary's run for the Senate. Even before the results were shown on the screen, Gibson was qualifying the results by stating "how unscientific the process was." The results showed: 69% Thought her run was wrongheaded. 31% Thought the run was a good idea.
