It seems that every few weeks we read a newspaper article about how CEOs are overpaid, typically accompanied with a set of statistics showing that the average CEO pay is hundreds of times that of the typical worker. These statistics however are usually grossly exaggerated, often to the point where the statistic passed around media outlets retains only minimal resemblance to its original source. Continued....
