Ah yes, the good old days. Kids are 22 and 24 and out on their on. Really miss those years 2000-2020, still fun to see them but it is not the same for sure.

Watched a good movie “News of the World” with Tom Hanks going around Texas during the 1870s reading newspapers to the locals. If we got the news once a month by a guy reading the events to us, we would be a bit less anxious about things happening out there.

Grew up in Dallas and learned to love baseball when the Rangers came in the early 70s. We had Ted Williams, Billy Martin, and Whitey Herzog as managers, good baseball men.
Different era, game was changing.

MCRD, the good old 80s. That first morning before we were assigned that DI came in barking at 430, and I wondered what the heck did I do. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Why doesn’t Biden forgive all debt for everyone, decree $50 minimum per hour and 32 hour work week. He could do it in one Executive Order, call it Joes Hat Trick.

Supreme Court says no.
And there is your impeachment, nothing to dig up, no witnesses, no drawn out hearings, no pointing fingers or firmly worded letters. He is breaking the Constitution rules and defying the Supreme Court. These are high crimes and misdemeanors.

my wife sells closets, they design and install really nice drawers, cabinets, etc., mens watch and tie displays, womens purses and shoes displayed, really nice work. Sold one this week $147,000 for a closet and pantry.

I laughed at your reference to disco, its true, that was great and fun exercise. The chuckle was thinking, dang, that was fun in college and here we are talking about it as exercise between receiving social security checks.

This occurred just after I moved to San Francisco, regularly went up to Anderson Valley and drove by a little makeshift memorial folks had set up where Pollys body was found. Sad that this guy is still living, this was one case you expected justice to prevail even in San Francisco.

how perception towards the gay community has also changed over the years
No kidding - before, we knew moms distant cousins lived together for 70 years and “they were different” but no big deal. I have two neighbors that are gay, both 80 something but totally discreet and nice to be around. Not one person has ever mentioned they are gay. Now its in your face and you better like it or down goes your social score.
