My wife, Tina passed on to be with Jesus in glory one week ago today. As my sister in law aptly put it "there now remains a Tina shaped hole in our souls and we mourn her loss" but I take hope and peace in knowing that she is in a far better place now. She is free from disease, pain and sorrow and I await the day when we are re-united. After a 2 year battle with malignant melanoma she suffered a stroke about 2 months ago which robbed her of movement and most of her speech. She loved...

Click Here for video Cats VS Christmas Trees ... the battle continues! Even though I knew we couldn't leave the Christmas tree up this year because it would be dangerous and Marmalade would more than likely eat something he shouldn't… Marmalade is currently going through chemotherapy and fighting cancer so I decided to put it up anyway so he could have some fun! As you can see from the look of joy and mischief on his face it was well worth the effort :)

My wife of nearly 30 years and I received news yesterday that she is suffering from a melanoma. She will have more tests done at a yet to be determined time to see how far it has spread. She will need an invasive surgery to remove the one obvious tumor. She and I have been Bible believing Christians our whole life together (We met and fell in love in Bible school) and we are clinging to prayer and God's Word. This is a request to our Christian friends here on Free Republic to pray for her during this time. She...

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Lost for almost 1,700 years, a manuscript entitled "Gospel of Judas" is putting a new spin on the case of the biblical bad guy, maintaining that Jesus actually asked disciple Judas to betray him. The third- or fourth-century ancient Coptic manuscript -- authenticated, translated and displayed Thursday at National Geographic headquarters here -- paints a different picture of Judas and Jesus. The papyrus manuscript known as a codex maintains, as the bible does not, that Jesus requested that Judas "betray" him by handing him to authorities, something it says pained Judas greatly."The codex has been authenticated as...
