Fifty-nine percent (59%) say that the Iraqi people are better off today than they were when Saddam Hussein was in charge. Fourteen percent (14%) say life for the Iraqi people is pretty much the same today as it was under Hussein. There is an enormous gap on this question between voters who favor Bush and those who support Kerry. By a 94% to 2% margin, Bush voters believe the Iraqi people are better off today.
