The link is to the report on the cadets who posed with the black power salute. A few things of note: 1. The cadets were doing a traditional 'Old Corps" photo session (I assume for the yearbook). 2. During this session, one cadet suggests the clenched fist pose. 3. At least two cadets were concerned and asked "are we really doing this?" 4. Later, when questioned, "All participants indicated the intent of the raised fist photograph was intended to display unity, solidarity and pride" 5. The reviewing officer states that there is only one minute elapsed between the concerned 'are...

There are kernels of truth in the claim...enough for those who want to believe the story to do just that. But in reality, the claims are exaggerated and mischaracterized...but the muslim student leader turned CAIR stooge as he sheds his crocodile tears.

The $2.73 million project started Oct. 2 with a site layout and installation of panel frames. Dozens of panels had been installed by Wednesday — a total of 2,629 will be installed. Each panel, made by Suniva, is 3 feet by 6 feet, said Jim Gleisberg, spokesman for the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System. Topeka’s project is funded by the VA Central Office and will save the VA in Topeka more than $300,000 in electrical utility costs yearly, Gleisberg said. The solar panels will produce about 700 kilowatts per day, or roughly 8 percent of the power on the...

After announcing a short delay “due to a computer systems issue that impacted dealer sales reporting”, General Motors announced that they sold 1,478 Chevy Volts in March – which is exactly the same number of cars they sold a year ago this month. Not the result we were hoping for, as the wind-down of California’s “green sticker” program this week spurred on sales of competitors (like the Toyota Prius – up 92%) to new highs for the year. This month also ‘kind-of ‘ stops a trend of 3 consecutive months (and 5 of 6 overall) of declining sales for the...
