I have them out back....I live on a bayou on the Chain of Lakes in Polk Co. FL.
I spend many an evening lounging out on my dock.
I wouldn’t stick my big toe in that water after dark.

The hildabeast tried this back when it began its campaign for the presidency. It repeated the ‘war on women’ mantra so often that even people holding positions of advisement said to knock it off....

Agreed....
My cousin just finished his stint as a weld inspector on the project that is bringing a dedicated gas line to the new Intel facility near Columbus Ohio.

Same here in Polk Co.
Why is my solid 67 year old concrete high and dry home, metal roof, in the same risk pool as a millionaires beachfront palace???
There was a reason the old timers didn’t build on the beach.
Historically, hurricanes die down enough before they reach us therefore damage is an order of magnitude less. The homes in the area, other than some shingles and fallen trees here and there, are still intact after decades of storms. Homes are not disintegrated and swept away like you see in the coastal flood areas.
My home insurance policy, the only game in town at present, went up 43% this time around. I have no mortgage and may not write that check next year. Yet....I am to pay for mansions on the beach.
Yes, we need relief and reform.... present conditions are not sustainable.

Indeed..... How are we going to extract what they owe for all the damages they have inflicted upon our cities??
They’ve burned through every dollar handed to them.
Tired and don’t care about the whining and oh-woe-is-me mentality.

Something similar.....
Must have been summer 1976 we were all awakened around 2 am by a loud metal crunching.
Across the road some drunk put his red Impala into the ditch at a high rate of speed and rolled the car over several times.
We all rushed over there to find the dazed driver, with nary a scratch on him, sitting on the neighbors yard next to the engine. The car was in pieces everywhere.

I eat once a week at a local eatery near hear and have gotten to know the waitresses.
They have repeatedly stated that negroes won’t tip however they demand, demand, demand.
The waitstaff cringes when a tableful walks in.
I have an iHeat tankless heater. It will supply enough for a shower and sink simultaneously. There are different models.
220 volt line was already there as were in/out water lines....simple installation.
My first propane unit in another home had the electric bill go down $45 per month. Propane was refilled 35-40 gal every six months.
Propane units are even more efficient. Marey heaters out of Puerto Rico have been made for 60+ years now.
I saw no point in paying to keep 40 gallons hot all the time.
The only disadvantage of propane is the unit has to be vented to the outdoors.

Many many moons ago I resided in Boise. The news would keep up with these protesters attempting to block the tracks so a particular nuke train would stop.....
Surprise! The train slowed however didn’t stop. One of the protesters who had laid on the tracks was separated from his legs.
