SAN ANTONIO -- A wildfire fire is spreading in the Stone Oak area on the North Side of San Antonio. The fire is believed to have started around 1:30 p.m. near Stone Oak Parkway and Evans Road. The fire department is organizing and still unable to speak to the media at the moment. There are reportedly several fire burning in the area. A Dachshund was killed and another was injured Wednesday after a Great Dane and a German shepherd ran onto a neighbor's yard and attacked the smaller dogs, deputies said. The owner of the Dachshunds, a 38-year-old woman, also was injured. She was treated at a local hospital for bite marks on her left leg, left buttocks and left hand, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. She received 11 stitches, deputies said.

A St. Petersburg police officer shot and killed two dogs Sunday night that were attacking a blind dog, according to the police department. A JOURNALIST had two muscles severed in his arm when he was attacked by a powerful French Mastiff on Hampstead Heath.
