COCOA -- City leaders approved an ordinance to make sure folks pick up their saggy pants when they're walking in certain public areas. Tuesday night the city council approved a measure prohibiting saggy pants on certain parts of public property. There was some opposition from the public as the ordinance was approved. The move -- according to the city -- gives police the power to fine violators, with the goal of improving the city's image. ORLANDO -- Officials said one of Lake Eola famous swan boats was stolen and flipped overnight Saturday by members of a popular tribute band. Orlando police were called out to Lake Eola at about 2 a.m. They said they saw 30-year-old Ryan Clifford and 23-year-old Carlton Newcomb in the lake around the capsized boat. Officers spotted 23-year-old Derryck Gleaton sitting on the shore “soaking wet from head to toe.” The three admitted they removed the boat after their band, the Dave Matthews Tribute Band, played at The Abbey on East Pine Street. Something happened this morning in Flagler County prompting more than a dozen residents to report everything from their homes shaking to a sonic boom-like noise. Right now the cause of the incident is unknown and officials may never figure out what happened, said Flagler County Emergency Management Chief Troy Harper.

Judge: Truant kids’ parents face jail ASSOCIATED PRESS PENSACOLA — Parents of kids who habitually skip school could find themselves locked up under an aggressive plan to curb truancy in this Florida Panhandle community. On 18 Feb 2000, NBC aired the two part Law and Order show Entitled. Part One was from the Law and Order, Special Victims Unit (SVU) and part two continued the same story as a Law and Order (The original) episode. NBC could do this. It aired the first run shows of both series. Law and Order was in its' 10th season. SVU, a spinoff, was in its' first season. Somebody, with the technical knowhow, needs to be designated to come up with a deck of cards with photos of Hollywood, political, and other anti-war protestors, following the example of Iraqi criminals issued by USA forces.
