Adam Smith, the once-CFO and Treasurer of Vante, Inc. bullied a young employee of Chick-fil-A and got fired for being a "nice guy," "a heterosexual" and "feeling purposeful." Greg Gutfeld profiles the "d-bag." View the video here.Photo: Adam Smith (allegedly) Vante, Inc is a medical device manufacturing firm in Tucson, probably trying to stay in business after ObamaCare's new tax on all medical device producers. The company fired Adam Smith. Two thumbs up to Vante. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company," the company said in a statement."The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our...

Among the many complicit in the DOJ and ATF's Operation Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal, is Deputy Director William Hoover (serving under an Acting Director). In the wake of a report by Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Hoover was allowed to resign - so far, not a single firing in this horrid government betrayal of this country and Mexico. Photo: William Hoover I can read, even most small print, but I don’t see Eric “my people” Holder nor Barack “Gotti” Obama’s names on that list anywhere. And how is that, we must ask? ~ Ms Cellaneous @...

Major Nidal Hasan isn't a terrorist. It follows that if the Fort Hood Killer is not a terrorist he didn't "terrorize," but North Dakotan Rodney Brossart did when he refused to return a neighbors 6 cows (referred to as a herd) which had wandered onto his 3,000 acre property - then, armed, he refused to let law enforcement onto his property. An unmanned Air Force drone was called in with the permission of Homeland Security. The drone reported back to the local police, and when Brossart, his wife and adult children were unarmed, law enforcement SWAT moved in. Today, a...

The Houston Chronicle is calling the huge Ted Cruz win over current Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst, an embarrassment for Governor Rick Perry who backed Dewhurst. Photo: Sarah Palin at Ted Cruz rally wearing boots given to her by Governor Perry Perry took aim during the campaign at various out-of-state Tea Partiers who supported Cruz, including the Tea Party Express and Sarah Palin. The governor, who is also a Tea Party favorite, chided them to "come to Texas and learn how to do it right." Cruz defeated Dewhurst by nearly 14 percentage points. The former state solicitor general is now the heavy...

Congressman Trent Franks' (R-AZ) H.R. 668 calls for protecting America's electrical grids from electromagnetic pulse (EMP). The legislation is known as The SHIELD Act. "SHIELD" is an acronym for "Secure High-voltage Infrastructure for Electricity from Lethal Damage." If you've ever given a thought to how you retrieve funds from your bank, either from inside the lobby or from and ATM, in the event of a major attack on our electrical grids - when everything automated and computerized goes down, then you know why this is important legislation. And there are consequences far beyond my somewhat minor example above, as you...

Greg Gutfeld has an amazing rant on Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's hit on Chick-fil-A, saying the restaurants and its owner doesn't "represent Chicago values." Gutfeld's response is far more than - "what a relief." A good conversation of The Five crew follows. Here's the video

This video explains EVERYTHING wrong with media and Liberalism today. Jonathan Capehart, a writer for the Washington Post, appears on MSNBC, and quotes the TEAParty's goal to fix Washington, D.C., and especially the "abandonment of the Constitution." Then the fool asks Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) how and when that "abandonment" has happened. Coburn explains and Capehart cuts in and says he isn't familiar with Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Video here.Photo: Jonathan Capehart, Washington Post Writer - Symbol of all that is wrong with Liberalism JONATHAN CAPEHART: Sen. Coburn, it’s Jonathan Capehart. I want to bring you back...

Donald Douglas at American Power Blog sent an email today asking if I was "with" him and Pam Geller at Atlas Shrugs, and he teased it a bit with something about a "mystery blogger" who doesn't allow anything close to insulting Islam on his very successful website. I thought I knew immediately who that blogger was, but I was wrong. The story starts with Pam Geller's post about the "mystery blogger" asking her repeatedly NOT to link to his site...because, apparently, a connection to a strong woman who knows her stuff about jihad, isn't attractive to his readers, or perhaps...

Child human trafficking victims in the U.S. who have been used as sex slaves, but are now under U.S. protection as witnesses, take a back seat to other important expenditures. I'm guessing feeding America's slackers is the problem - those in the SNAP program, through Electronic Benefit Cards (EBT) - translation: food stamps, those who feed off of taxpayers and needn't prove they are worthy. Since there is no money to feed the "witnesses," the human traffickers often go free. This isn't only about children smuggled across our borders. Some are Americans. Think about that. Children...needed to witness against those...

After bloggers broke the Fast and Furious gunwalker story, and drove it home day after day after day, Congressman Darrell Issa's Oversight Committee announced they have placed blame and will release several reports in coming days - but "journalists" were given a copy yesterday. Sipsey Street Irregulars says the report was "embargoed until midnight," and all "authorized journalists" got copies - but bloggers who have been involved, even in the halls of Congress. I can't even count the times I've heard Greta Van Susteren report on Fast and Furious and it was obvious much of her information came from bloggers....

Judicial Watch once again outs the truth while trying to force the DOJ to pay their attorney's fees. The DOJ said there was no reason for the agency to pay attorney's fees as there was no evidence of any political interference: “none of the records produced in this litigation evidenced any political interference whatsoever in” how the DOJ handled the New Black Panther Party case" said the DOJPhoto: King Shamir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson Really? US District Court Judge Reggie Walton: (read it all at the Washington Examiner)The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status...

Maybe I'm not reading legislation thoroughly, but I think I am. Does anyone seriously think Obama would sponsor legislation to fire federal workers for non-payment of income taxes? Fox Business says Obama sponsored a bill in 2007 "identical" to that of yesterday's bill from Rep. Jason Chaffetz to do just that. Chaffetz wants federal employees fired if they haven't paid their taxes, and he wants no one hired who has delinquent taxes. Obama's 2007 legislation, which died in committee in a Democratically controlled Senate, called only for barring tax-evading contractors and those receiving grants. Big difference. The rest of the story...

The U.S. Government is suing New Mexico for perceived damages in a groundwater case, and the prize is control of the state's water. In May 2011 we learned that the EPA was beginning to change the way America's waters are controlled, and that control was to be extended to your ponds and puddles. Happening now in New Mexico: The lawyers told the committee [New Mexico Legislature Water and Natural Resources] the U.S. government is apparently trying to take over legal management of the state's water supply. The federal government has asserted claims for damages to groundwater in a natural resource...

Those are the words of Sarah Palin as she spoke to hundreds of Ted Cruz for US. Senate supporters in Houston, Texas - "sudden and relentless reform" if you send Cruz to Washington. The Cruz podium was the inaugural 2012 campaign stump event for Palin. “Ted is not going to D.C. to make nice with the foo-foo, she-she cocktail crowd. Not at all. He’s going to do the heavy lifting to reign in our out of control government.” ~ Sarah Palin By the way, Governor Rick Perry who is supporting Cruz' challenger, gave Palin the black and white boots you...

The thought of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel is so deeply repugnant to the Obama administration that Press Secretary Jay Carney couldn't 'speak' it, wouldn't confirm it - but couldn't ignore it either, because he was asked repeatedly, and heatedly, for the White House position: is Jerusalem still the capital of Israel, or has that position changed? It was HAWT in that press room today (you don't often see a White House presser like this one). All Carney would say is that the White House position has not changed. Today Mitt Romney stated for all the world to hear: "It...

The following is the transcript of a brilliant and inspiring speech by Mitt Romney from Jerusalem's Old City. I see only one word missing..."Palestinians," although they and the evil they perpetrate is clear. He reiterates that Jerusalem is the Capital City of Israel; that our ideals and values are much the same; that America will not stand by and watch horror played out again; that true peacemakers never allow despotic regimes to spread their hate to free peoples; that we have a solemn duty to believe Iran when they tell us they will destroy Israel [and the U.S.]; that the...

This is why pro-gun lobbies are so important, and why all lawyers are not bad. Believe me, those lobbies and their attorneys have been pouring money into SCOTUS scrutiny because they know it is coming, and Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia has confirmed it. (to clarify my title - Scalia did not say pro gun lobbies and their attorneys are important. I said it.) Scalia, one of the high court’s most conservative justices, said on “Fox News Sunday” that the majority opinion in the landmark 2008 case of District of Columbia v. Heller stated the extent of gun ownership...

Supreme Court Justice Scalia has a new book out, and so...he is doing interviews. In the video below, he talks with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. The video is the full 26 minute video. My loose transcript (meaning I left out redundancy and the uhs and ahs, etc) is also below. While Scalia's comments about possible new gun laws, in the future, coming out of the Court is grabbing most of the attention, he had pertinent comments on Arizona's immigration law and the prohibition of the Obama administration enforcement of it. He schools Wallace on an appeals court decision...

The U.S. Navy has refused to hand over details of how Osama bin Laden was buried at sea. Information on rituals and rites for the terrorist have been requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). For the first time, I'm hearing that a Muslim seaman said an "appropriate prayer," and washed and wrapped the killer in an "appropriate cloth." Who knew the U.S. Navy would have such a cloth handy. Photo above: USS Vinson The al-Qaida leader’s carcass was reportedly dumped into the sea from the USS Carl Vinson within 24 hours of his May 2, 2011 death at...

More woeful elementary core curriculum education news from the state of Oklahoma, and specifically in Tulsa and surrounding areas. Headline: Elementary Test Results Dip, and they have dipped "to the lowest rates in years." The good news is, about 24 years ago, Tulsa schools took 6th graders out of elementary schools and moved them into what was transitioning from Junior High School to Middle School. That bright idea is apparently now being corrected and 6th graders are moving back to elementary school where they are better served. The fact is, students across the nation are failing in mathematics and science....
