South Bend, IN - A former employee of the South Bend School Corporation has been charged with several counts of sexual assault, battery and misconduct stemming from incidents that took place last year. Schmeca White, 27, worked as a teacher’s aid at Greene Intermediate School in St. Joseph County. White faces nine felony charges involving seven children, all special education students.
