I’ve used an induction cooktop and it did not offer me as fine a temperature control as a comparatively priced gas cooktop. They also cycle on and off like electric stoves instead of providing steady heat. I’m not impressed.
My daughter has issues with it toward the end of winter. She bumps her vitamin D up near the end of February for about 6 weeks and that solves most of her issues.

I’m not disagreeing with ‘his company, his rules’. I’m just saying he was wrong about people working from home are only pretending to work. I’m sure that is true for some, but people also pretend to work in the office as well. The key is to hire people who will WORK.
I don’t know all of the jobs that are involved in keeping Tesla and SpaceEx running. The manufacturing jobs obviously require people to be onsite. The administrative jobs, like A/P, A/R, purchasing, etc., might be best onsite or might work better hybrid. I don’t know because I’m not in those companies. I don’t know if Musk knows or not. However, as you said, his company, his rules. I’m just pointing out he might be wrong.

My company has gone to a hybrid model. I am more productive with certain tasks at home. There are other tasks where facetime with others are helpful. A large majority of my coworkers and managers have the same opinion. Musk should hire managers that set performance metrics. Facetime in the office does not always equal productivity.
I have hopes that things will somewhat stabilize with the election of a Republican Congress. I don’t expect improvement until 2025 at the earliest. At that point, we should have a Republican Congress and president.
Not everybody can nurse and some medically fragile infants have to have special formula. My second grandchild had dystonia and was unable to nurse properly. She ended up with a feeding tube and had to have special prescription formula for her feedings. It was delivered every other week.
My little sister could only eat Neutramigen when she was an infant. Back then, Mom and Dad had to order it through the pediatrician’s office because it wasn’t sold through retail stores.
I hope that your family never has to go through something like this and that if you do, people show compassion.
