Adam Smith is the father of “layez fair” economics. The unemployment rate is “99 percent.” And the debt is “like 17 gazillion.” Those are just some of the brilliant comments Fox producer Jesse Watters got when he went down to Panama City, FL to interview college students on spring break about Barack Obama. Stuff like this never gets old:

AUDIO ON LINK from his 2011 show. Ladies and Gentlemen, I dare you to find anything remotely equivalent to the hateful, vile, insanity on display in the audio below anywhere on conservative talk radio. Why don’t we ever hear the name Mike Malloy on the news? In this clip there is more violent rhetoric than the entirety of anything said on conservative talk radio for the last 20 years.

A video created by two Olympia WA High School journalism students intended as a comedy sketch turned into a bigger lesson in the failure of the public school system than they bargained for. Part of the Paul strategy is to take over vacant Republican precinct committee officer (PCO) positions. That's because PCOs automatically become delegates to county or legislative-district GOP conventions, where they can try to get elected as delegates to the state convention. A local Paul campaign memo displayed a touch of paranoia about the effort. It urged Paul volunteers to consider concealing their support for him when volunteering as PCOs. And for those who become PCOs, the memo suggested organizing caucuses in private homes, avoiding libraries or schools "where the establishment will be in full force and try to control everything."...

SEATTLE - A very unique wedding in Seattle on Sunday afternoon as people came to witness the union of a woman - and a building. In order to save a building from demolition, a Babylonia Aivaz “married” it. Aivaz said "I do" to the warehouse on 10th and Union on Capitol Hill. She said she fell in love with the 107-year-old building during an Occupy Seattle protest and doesn't want to see it torn down to make room for a brand-new apartment building. "I hope that America wakes up and realizes that gentrification is a serous issue that affects poor...

The Christmas season is filled with television specials that remind us of our childhood. From “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer“ to ”The Grinch,” holiday favorites offer a lesson for viewers, while enabling them to celebrate and experience the Christmas spirit. But when a new, animated holiday cartoon called “A Krampus Carol” was produced for the Travel Channel, it was apparently a bit too creepy and disturbing to be aired. So, executives decided to pull the plug. Anthony Bourdain, a chef and television personality who hosts the Travel Channel’s “No Reservations” show, apparently wrote the short cartoon. He took the Austrian legend...

The Seattle Times says Fox has declined to provide medical records supporting her claim that she had a miscarriage five days after being hit. Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson says the department is looking into the situation because of the seriousness of the...

During a news broadcast on Russian TV, anchor Tatiana Limanova spoke about Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s appearance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. Shortly after, the anchor mentioned that Medvedev will soon take an APEC leadership role previous held by U.S. President Barack Obama. The only odd thing to note, however, is that Limanova says Obama’s name while simultaneously showing her middle finger.

Arson investigators are looking into a fire that was set at a Bank of America branch early Wednesday morning in Seattle's Madison Park neighborhood. Police officers were called to the branch in the 4100 block of East Madison Street after a bank alarm was triggered around 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found the ATM engulfed in flames and more flames just inside the building. Firefighters were called to douse the flames. Investigators say there was no sign anyone went into the bank -- it looks like someone set the fire outside then left.
