Off-Topic. While I was looking up info about this shooting, I listened to one of Fischer’s sermons—Reaping What We Sow—posted at his church’s site. He seemed like a nice man.
Just for you I watched the news. Channel 9, OKC, reported that the “preacher” knocked the Patrolman down and held him under water trying to drown him. Both Patrolmen shot him.
I wasn't there, but anyone who chooses to batter a patrolman turn a misdemeanor, or even a casual encounter, into a felony. An further, can expect to get shot.
And, I'll repeat, one of Oklahoma's Highway Patrol's jobs it to enforce safety. They can make you stop and turn around if there's a tornado expected to cross the highway; they can make you drive off the highway to clear the road for wrecks and emergency vehicles; and, yes, make you get off the highway.
And I wasn't there, but there are private citizens and emergency workers who drown every year trying to save people who find themselves in the water
In Oklahoma, the primary purpose of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is (surprise) patrolling roads and highways. Barricading flooded roads is one thing they do. Also, probably, these people's offence, Oklahoma Statute 47:11§11-103:
No person shall willfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any police officer invested by law with authority to direct, control or regulate traffic.
I've just finished reading this book againtoo many memoriesbut people promoting conflict between American soldiers and American citizens should read and heed:
There was too much going on being a soldier in those days, so I don't recall much that happened outside of what I was actually doing.
I may be wrong, but D.C. is under Federal control. I'm assuming that its National Guard is under the authority of the President, so it would be appropriate to call in Federal troops to back them up. Don't have any idea about Baltimore.
"The list of concerns over Jade Helm does not end with the perception that the military is treading perilously close to traditionally prohibited activities. Experts on Posse Comitatus note that even during more turbulent times, such as after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, when riots broke out in many major American cities including Chicago, Detroit, and Washington DC, it was not the military that responded but the National Guard, fulfilling its historic role of restoring law and order amid chaos."
I was in the army then. We were training only to protect Federal installations.
Nudge seems to be a rehash of a book by Edward Bernays (the propagandist Woodrow Wilson hired to "nudge" Americans to support getting into WWI): Propaganda.

I don’t get it. I just checked back, and the video they’re talking about was uploaded to YouTube two years ago. I don’t have the stamina, nor desire, to look into it anymore.

You made an unsubstantiated accusation against some unnamed "girl." A man with even an ounce of character would have withdrawn the accusation, or shown proof. You have done neither. No ethics, no honesty.
