Raw vote totals from ALL states thus far, Trump/Cruz/Rubio, from RCP: Trump - 3,357,976 33.5% Cruz - 2,759,045. 27.6% Rubio - 2,129,410. 21.3% Now, if you take out Texas (no offense just making a point): Trump - 2,600,845. 36.0% Cruz - 1,520,503. 21.1% Rubio - 1,627,566. 22.6% Without Texas, Cruz home field, the overall numbers show a big Trump lead nationally which lines up with most national polls, and Cruz in 3rd. Even with Texas, Trump still has a 600,000 6% lead nationally but Cruz bumps Rubio for second. For your consideration.

Forgive the rare vanity on my part, but we need those millions of evangelicals who stayed home in 2000. Haven't heard much on how they might turnout, all we hear is college kids with cell phones! Anyone have any info on the GOTV effort amongst this important group?

I come to my fellow Freepers with a heavy heart and seeking solace. I am in the middle of spending 4 days with my wife's parents. While my beloved is a good conservative, her folks are long-time dyed-in-the-wool lefties. Let me say that I love them dearly, and vice versa. Just drove through downtown Atlanta at 10:30 PM Eastern Time. Our entry ramp to I20 Eastbound was sealed for 10 minutes - then we were allowed to merge onto the highway behind a slow-moving police-led rolling roadblock. We were behind that until we veered onto I85 Northbound at downtown. We noticed some sealed exits/entrances Southbound and a emergency vehicle flew by towards the main business area. It all seemed mighty suspicious, but we've heard nothing on local radio or TV. Does anyone know what caused this? I'm thinking some type of bomb/weapons scare or fleeing suspects.
