been thinking about getting one - curious to hear comments. Cimarron orders from Uberti to original specs / markings etc...in .44 black powder (blued)- while Uberti makes a non original in .45 long colt which is also color case hardened....which is better looking Im torn - BP would extend my deer season - but it would mean a whole new level of expense in powder/shot etc... I have a Win 94 in .45 colt so I have plenty of ammo Hate to sound like an indecisive pantload but Im torn as to what ends up in the cabinet -

Rochester, N.Y. — Early Tuesday morning, Christopher Boise heard a noise coming from the basement. As he walked toward the source of that noise, the RIT student noticed two men standing in the downstairs portion of his apartment. "They were waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs," said Boise. One of them had a handgun trained on Boise. Within moments, Boise screamed. His cries were heard by his roommate, Raymond. "It wasn't like a, 'I stepped by stepped on a piece of glass' kind of scream," Raymond said. "So, I instinctively went to my gun bag." Raymond owns...

Irondequoit, N.Y. --- Monroe County will soon be home to two lawmakers named “Joseph D. Morelle.” On Wednesday Monroe County Democratic Party Chairman Joe Morelle (also a New York State Assemblyman) will recommend that his son, Joe Morelle Jr., fill a vacant seat in the county legislature. The vacancy comes in the wake of Democrat Ted O’Brien’s election to the New York State Senate in November. O’Brien reportedly approached Morelle Jr., 24, about filling his seat immediately after the November election. His name was then presented to the Irondequoit Democratic Committee for a vote and he received unanimous support. Morelle...

Saul Alinsky visits Ohio for Senate Bill 5 By: Tom Zawistowski, Executive Director, Portage County TEA Party, Ohio Fellow Patriots, this past week many or our members and our groups, for the first time since our movement began, actually faced hostile crowds in numbers significantly larger than we could muster. This was a new learning experience for most of us and, as you will see, it was not a pleasant experience. After a rally in Youngstown on Thursday, February 24, 2011, it became clear to me that, though our groups and members were learning from our experience, we were not...

I am not often surprised in the course of my job. But on Friday, during a news conference promoting high speed rail in New York state, I couldn't help but be surprised. Politicians do not usually say, in very clear terms, that the plan is to build first and ask questions later. Federal Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood was in town to help pump up the project. The feds have earmarked $151 million via the stimulus bill for high speed rail in New York state. But that only starts the process of building it; it will likely cost more money to...
