(Paul Nehlen) – Our campaign was all over the news again yesterday, including Paul Ryan coming out swinging while the media hit us with one negative story after another. We must be doing something right! With three days to go before we “term limit” Congressman Ryan, I wanted to take some time with you to address three of those negative stories and set the record straight… About The Trump Endorsement: Bottom Line: In endorsing Mr. Ryan on Friday night during his speech in Green Bay, Mr. Trump proved he’s the leader we need to unite the Republican Party and win...

Following the formal announcement of Hillary Clinton’s nomination on July 26, Bernie Sanders delegates staged a walk-out, leaving nearly half of the Democratic National Convention empty just before Bill Clinton’s speech. While mainstream media outlets fawned over Bill, former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner led protests outside the arena. Because Turner has yet to endorse Hillary Clinton and remains very critical of the DNC, DNC officials refused to let her introduce Sanders. “DNC betrayed Bernie Sanders and the rest of America,” Turner tweeted on July 26, referring to WikiLeaks and Guccifer 2.0—both of which reveal the DNC rigged the primaries...

Folks, credit where credit is due. Toxic Teddy did something that I didn't think would be easy or fast and he did it in less than a half hour. Last night Toxic Ted single handedly strangled most of the alwayshillary movement and unified the conservative/nationalists behind the Trump ticket. Wow. Well done, Teddy! Let me be the first to buy you a drink and a rat to exploit! You da man, the legend in your own mind! Kudos are also owed to the Trump campaign, who played the speech by Toxic Ted like Perlman plays a stradivarius. It was awe...

I spent another morning knocking on doors for the Trump/Pence campaign and wanted to give my after action report. For those of you who aren't aware, the gop is in charge of the "ground game" for Get Out The Vote (GOTV). What that means as a practical matter is that volunteers and a handful of paid staffers are knocking on doors, surveying potential voters, identifying people who are pro-Trump/ pro-gop and trying to bring in a November victory. I'm one of those volunteers knocking on doors. Myself and my partner were assigned a fairly stable, working class neighborhood. And unlike...

I just back from banging on doors in the heat for the Donald Trump campaign. Had a great time and want to share some impressions: -There are a lot of folks who are undecided but reachable. We might want to critique the LIV but guess what? Chances are they're going to decide the outcome. - It's a lot more fun to spend time with like minded (that is to say, sane) volunteers. - there are not nearly enough folks doing the lifting. So, if you can spend a couple of hours and want to meet some good folks who care...

Britain suffered further blows to its economic standing on Monday as two top ratings agencies downgraded its sovereign credit score, judging last week's vote to leave the European Union would hurt its economy. Standard & Poor's stripped Britain of its last remaining top-notch credit rating, dropping it by two grades from "AAA" to "AA" and warning more downgrades could follow. Fitch Ratings also downgraded its ranking for Britain's creditworthiness by one notch, and similarly said more cuts could follow. The ratings agencies effectively added a rubber stamp to the market's view of the Brexit vote, as sterling tanked to a...

As much as we're thrilled with the Brexit vote and the hope of a UK free of the EU, the globalists are already hard at work trying to slow down Brexit, and doing whatever they can to frustrate the result. In the past day, we've already seen a push to call a second vote on Brexit, as well as what appears to be a concerted media campaign to try and reverse the result. The globalists are like rust: they never sleep. An independent UK is important to our future. There is no reason why we have to stand by and...

Taylor 17,039 52.56% Scott Taylor is in the House of Delegates, former SEAL and all around good troop. This is a relatively safe gop district, so he'll likely win the general. Randy Forbes is a carpetbagger from western tidewater, 4th district. He doesn't live in the 2nd. His 4th district was redrawn and is now leaning rat. The incumbent in the 2nd decided to retire to let Forbes run for the seat....

Katie, get your gun lawyer. By now you’ve probably heard about Katie Couric’s new anti-gun documentary “Under The Gun,” and how her producer doctored video of interviews with gun owners in order to make them look stupid and heartless. Couric’s producer and director, Stephanie Soechtig, admitted to doctoring the video, and Couric herself kinda sorta apologized for it. But that’s not the worst thing that happened with the making of this documentary. It turns out that Couric’s production team deliberately conspired to violate federal gun laws. According to video obtained by Ammoland, a shooting sports news website, one of Couric’s...

The makers of a new Katie Couric documentary on gun violence deceptively edited an interview between Couric and a group of gun rights activists in an apparent attempt to embarrass the activists, an audio recording of the full interview shows. At the 21:48 mark of Under the Gun a scene of Katie Couric interviewing members of the Virginia Citizens Defense League, a gun rights organization, is shown. Couric can be heard in the interview asking activists from the group, “If there are no background checks for gun purchasers, how do you prevent felons or terrorists from purchasing a gun?” The...

“Creative” editing by Katie Couric, who must have graduated from the Joseph Goebbels School of Journalism, has intentionally and significantly changed the response of VCDL members in a new video called “Under the Gun” - and I have PROOF. VCDL APPROACHED TO BE PART OF A “DOCUMENTARY” I received an email in March of 2015 from Kristin Lazure, a producer for Atlas Films, asking if VCDL would be part of "a documentary about the gun violence prevention movement in America.” In the email, Kristin said, "Some of the storylines we're exploring include the legislative process on the federal and state...

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Friday signed into law a compromise gun policy hammered out between Democrats and Republicans who rarely see eye-to-eye on the hot-button issue. The measures will allow more out-of-state concealed-handgun permit holders to legally carry guns in Virginia, prohibit people subject to permanent protective orders from carrying firearms and require police presence at gun shows for voluntary background checks. SNIP The measures flew through the GOP-controlled House and Senate with little opposition. The compromise was vehemently opposed by Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun-control group, Everytown for Gun Safety. The once-strong ally of McAuliffe ran...

There is only one political enterprise occupying our nations capitol. Many people call that enterprise “the UniPartyâ€. Succinct in both description and accuracy, the UniParty members live very well within a fortified and defended castle we call DC. Within the UniParty there are factions, each with their own flag. One flag represented by a Donkey, the other represented by an elephant. Life inside the DC castle is very good, there are infinite indulgences – both factions enjoy it very much. There’s not much difference between the two factions when they are inside the castle, and any visitor will attest to...

I saw a post earlier today noting that FR Catholics had not yet weighed in on the comments of Pope Francis on the border wall proposed by Donald Trump. Well, be patient. We'll get around to it.... I guess I should start this with a little bit on the relationship between the Pope and Catholics. Many non-Carholics seem to have this idea that Catholics have some sort of vatican-phones on our belts, where we get called to rally to the Pope's aid. Sorry. That's just not the way it works. While the Pope deserves deference and respect, his views outside...

Before I begin my analysis, I'dlike to point out that the number the President uses for deaths caused by the use (or misuse) of a firearm includes suicides (much more than half of the total) and lawful self-defense shootings by citizens and police. Should suicide and lawful self-defense be considered “gun violence?†No. ANALYSIS Much of the Executive Orders (EOs) really don’t change anything, but try to put a menacing or intimidating spin on them. Others simply double-down on existing enforcement (yawn), some are bad, and one VCDL likes. Here is what they really do (or don’t do). 1. A...

During the last half of 2015, a specter haunted the Republican "invisible primary" for the 2016 presidential nomination: an independent run for president by Donald Trump that would split the GOP base and send a Democrat gliding into the White House. As he consolidated a position in the polls as the GOP front-runner, Trump was maneuvered into signing a party loyalty pledge (required to get onto the ballot in South Carolina), and then ruled out an indie run at and after a December candidate debate. With a guy like Trump, an abandonment of this doubled-down oath is always possible, especially...

ChristÂmas is comÂing, and House SpeakÂer Paul RyÂan is in a merry mood. Just hours after passing a massive biÂparÂtisÂan spendÂing bill in conÂvinÂcing fashÂion, one day after notchÂing scores of tax policy wins and barely two months inÂto his speakÂerÂship, RyÂan has fully transÂformed from reÂluctÂant reÂcruit inÂto happy warÂriÂor. Now he just has to bring the ReÂpubÂlicÂan Party with him. “I’m very happy with how the last sevÂen weeks have gone,†he told a small group of reÂportÂers asÂsembled in his Baroque-style CapÂitÂol ofÂfice. The space has been reÂpainted with a fresh coat of palaÂtial red, part of...

As of sometime yesterday, concealed handgun permit holders and off-duty police can no longer carry in state-agency buildings, under trespass laws. If you’d like to call the Governor and share your thoughts with him, his number is: 804-786-2211. With my tongue planted firmly in my cheek, I have taken the liberty of drafting a press release for the Governor to use to announce this action: PRESS RELEASE Governor McAuliffe Creates Gun-Free Zones to Stop the Carnage in State Agency Buildings! Richmond, December 4, 2015: Virginia Governor McAuliffe, in order to stop all the continued bloodshed in state-agency buildings, has made...
