Oh, well, they are already. Upon my arrival at work, I mentioned to my Obama-loving cubicle neighbors that the Dow doesn't seem to like the stimulus package. You can what imagine their idiotic but predictable responses were.
Thank you so very much for posting this! This is the ONLY news of the day that I watched. I wore earplugs at work while everyone else was watching that circus in DC on their computers. W’s homecoming speech was wonderful. Wish I could have been there!
Oh, big deal. If he had really loved her, he would be there to show his love and respect. The flat fact is, she served her purpose. He made his little jaunt during the campaign and did what he needed to do. Tough luck if he has a hard time getting to the gym.

Haha! Thank you! My poor cousin on Cape Cod avoided all the news on Tuesday evening, refused to turn on the news Wednesday morning, and started humming loudly while shopping when the news came on in the store—she was so afraid to hear that Obama had won. It was not until she listened to my voicemail message of commiseration that she learned the nightmarish truth!
This is just what I have been thinking. You would have thought that with THAT ONE having been elected, the markets would be up—I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the DOW went up when Bush was elected.
Here I sit in my cubicle, in San Francisco, surrounded by freaking liberals. This is my second day with earplugs jammed in as tightly as possible so I don’t have to listen to the gloating.
