Saturday, August 12, 2006 How To Negotiate With Terrorists This brief blog entry takes you through a series of negotiations over time between peacemakers and terrorists: A peacemaker walks up to the left side of a line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line. The peacemaker introduces himself. The terrorist kills him. A peacemaker walks up to the left side of the line. A terrorist walks up to the right side of the line. The peacemaker asks, "why did you kill my friend?" The terrorist kills him and rapes his wife. A peacemaker walks up to...

http://www.antiochian.org/water-of-cana THE WATER OF CANA IS TURNED INTO BLOOD By His Eminence Metropolitan PHILIP Primate, Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America July 31, 2006 Cana (modern spelling is Qana) is a little village in South Lebanon which was blessed by the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, his Holy Mother and his disciples. Cana is the Village where Christ performed his first miracle by changing the water into wine at the marriage feast. (John 2: 1-11). Thus, Cana is deeply rooted in our Christian history. Unfortunately, in modern times and due to the conflict between Israel and...

Once again I'm asking for Freeper help. My very liberal, anti-America, American friend just read Hitchen's article in Vanity Fair about how millions of third generation Vietnmese are deformed from "Agent Orange." Anybody have a good argument I can use to defend our country to her? I am not a troll.

you believe we are addicted to oil? So basically when we invaded Iraq, we didn’t really mean anything, it was just the oil talking. We were under the influence of oil at the time. Hillary Clinton said this week that she doesn't agree with either the people who say we should be in Iraq or her friends who say we should be out. Thanks for clearing that up. Think she’s running for president? Even John Kerry said, "Pick a position!" Bush spoke about his guest worker program again or as we call it Wal-Mart. In this week in 1933, Adolph...

Tonight, my son had a 9 year old birthday party. He is showing a lot of interest in skateboarding. One of his guests brought him a skateboarding hat and a sticker of an iron cross to put on his skateboard. My husband is a high school teacher and has been warned of the symbolism of the iron cross, that it relates to Nazism. So discreetly after my son put the sticker on without permission, my husband removed it and threw it in the trash. The boy saw it happen, and his mom called very angy that we had destroyed his...

We just got back from Vegas, and I wanted to highly recommend a great concert, Donny Osmond! I wasn't ever a teeny bopper fan. I enjoyed his new stuff, and he's a great entertainer.

I have two students from Afghanistan whom I asked about their opinion of a Shiite winning the Presidential election in Iraq. By the way, their parents were killed by the Taliban, they are Farsi speaking Sunnis. Anyways, they said they were very disappointed, and a success in Iraq is "impossible" with a Shiite president citing their religious fanaticism. Does anyone have any insight to counter their negative opinion, or is the situation really that "impossible?"

December 31, 2004 Edition > Section: Editorial and Opinion > Printer-Friendly Version The Left and the Tsunami New York Sun Staff Editorial December 31, 2004 URL: http://www.nysun.com/article/7039 Leave it to the American left to find a villain of the tsunami disaster - not Mother Nature but President Bush. The Washington Post on Wednesday trotted out the former president of the Council on Foreign Relations, Leslie Gelb, to pronounce that Mr. Bush was, as the Post conveyed it, "missing an opportunity to demonstrate American benevolence." The New York Times editorialized yesterday that American aid offers were "stingy" and "miserly." Rep. Joseph...

It was Christmas Eve. Ebenezer Scrooge didn’t care that it was the best holiday of the year. Bob Cratchit worked for Scrooge. Cratchit was very afraid of Scoroge. It took a lot of courage for him to ask Scrooge if he could have Christmas Day off. Scrooge was a mean man. “Christmas!” shouted the miserly Scrooge. “Bah, humbug!” But Scrooge gave Cratchit permission to spend Christmas Day with his family. Cratchit rushed out the door. He didn’t want Scrooge to change his mind. Just then, Scrooge’s nephew Fred stopped to visit. He was a very kind and generous man. Fred...

Garrison Keillor: Homegrown Idiot By George Shadroui FrontPageMagazine.com | December 3, 2004 It is at times remarkable to behold the commentary that attaches to the liberal view of conservatives and Republicans. One is reminded of an out-of-body experience, as if one is viewing oneself from a ceiling but not quite sure how you got there or how you came to see yourself from that particular vantage point. But if you are a conservative who might enjoy this sensation, I recommend a recent book by Garrison Keillor, Homegrown Democrat. Keillor is in many ways a national treasure. He is great storyteller....

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's fedayeen removed weapons and ammunition from a storage facility in northern Iraq, similar to the al-Qaqaa facility at the center of current controversy, before the U.S. victory and prior to the arrival of the 101st Airborne Division to secure the area, according to photos obtained by WorldNetDaily from an Army intelligence source.

BY JAMES TARANTO Friday, September 24, 2004 2:00 p.m. 'Let the Wookie Win' A blogger called "bkm" has come forth with one of the most inventive insights of the 2004 campaign: John Kerry may actually be C-3PO, the neurotic, English-sounding metallic droid, who by the way served in the Clone Wars.

Posted on Sun, Sep. 19, 2004 Host Says Rather Criticism Got Him Fired PEGGY ANDERSEN Associated Press SEATTLE - A radio talk-show host said Saturday he has been fired for criticizing CBS newsman Dan Rather's handling of challenges to the authenticity of memos about President Bush's National Guard service. "On the talk show that I host, or hosted, I said I felt Rather should either retire or be forced out over this," said Brian Maloney, whose weekly "The Brian Maloney Show" aired for three years on KIRO-AM Radio, a CBS affiliate here. Maloney says he made that statement on his...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eulogy for Network News: A Rather sad swan song -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: September 13, 2004 1:00 a.m. Eastern © 2004 WorldNetDaily.com Title of speech: In remembrance of Network News Date: September 2004 Location: Our Lady of the Forged Documents, N.Y. Theme: "They slipped the surly bonds of Earth, to out-of-context edit an interview with God." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. With the exception of a few tear-soaked anchors and producers, this is not a day of mourning, but rather a day of celebration. This is a day when we say "goodbye" to Network News, but only because Network...

See BS continues to rigorously defend its reporting if Bush's National Guard Memo claiming that forensic tests, handwriting analysis, superscript availability on selectric typewriters since 1930, and previous sketpics-turned converts-to claim their integrity in reporting is unquestionable.
-
If your average, naive, gullible citizen visits the CBS website, they'll assume all of this buzz about forgeries is no cause for concern. See BS continues to hide the truth

May be CBS is letting this blow up so they can get rid of Mr. self styled "King of the Universe" Dan Rather.
