Just saw the video for the first time. I wasn't sure if it was a joke, or if it was real! The guy has an accent that sounds English or Australian. He rants in such a goofy way that it reminded me of the Peoples Judean Front vs the People's Front of Judea. I really thought for a moment it was a Python sketch! Dilemma of the day OK, here's your dilemma of the day: You are the President of the United States. You've just learned that there is an asteroid headed for France that will completely wipe out their entire country. It is scheduled to hit about 2:30 a.m. in just two days from now. You have enough ships and military personnel nearby that can help evacuate their people safely, but they are on stand-by supporting the war with Iraq. My nephew Christopher, age 4, in Michigan is very ill. He has been dehydrated and vomiting, and now they suspect a bowel obstruction. He is on his way by helo to Grand Rapids (from their home in Grayling) and my brother and his wife are driving down (about a 2 hour trip, bet they make it in considerably less.) Please pray for safe travel, and for the skill of the doctors to determine the correct course of treatment! My nine year old son Brandon and I went on a Cub Scout campout last weekend with our Webelos Den (4th graders) and the rest of the cub scout pack we belong to. The evening on Saturday ended with a traditional campfire. After the usual skits and fun, we had the opportunity to do a "permanent" retirement ceremony for the U.S. Flag. Just saw the video of the traffic stop on Sept. 9 involving one of the 9/11 hijackers. On top of everything else, I noticed in the trooper's car the radio was on and the song that was playing was Lonestar's "Already There". I just downloaded it and listened to it. This may just become the anthem for all the rescue workers lost in the attacks and the resuce attempts. Did anyone else hear this, or was it only on my TV?

My resolution for 2002: NEVER AGAIN LISTEN TO A DIET AD ON THE RADIO. I am getting sick and tired of the Body Solutions claim that if you take a tablespoon of their stuff at bedtime ON AN EMPTY STOMACH 3 HOURS AFTER YOUR LAST MEAL you will magically lose weight. Did anyone else catch Fox coverage this morning of the ridiculous and irrelevant meeting held by the New Black Panthers? Their leader stood at the podium saying "blaming Bin Laden is not the problem" and he held up a picture of Bush and said, "we blame Bush". What the he** are they thinking?
