Without irony, people observing the exodus claim it must be because conservatives want to “stay in their own echo chambers,” and surely there’s truth to wanting to be with like-minded people. That’s why the Left loves legacy social media. They run it, contour content to their way of thinking, and censor, report, and hector people who don’t think like them. This may sound like a Leftist love-fest, and it is, but being a conservative on these social media sites is like going to dinner at your sister’s, where she thinks it’s perfectly OK to call you a ho because you...

On Friday, President Donald Trump pointed to the chaotic primary election in New York's 12th Congressional District as a portent of what the nation might expect should Democrats succeed in their scheme to vastly expand mail-in voting for the general election in November. Though the primary was held on June 23, a clear winner is not known due to a large number of absentee ballots that were disqualified by the state's Board of Elections.

Agadmator runs an extremely popular chess-only youtube channel / subscription and it has been on with no problems for YEARS. He has a deffinite accent so I think he is of (a guess) slavic ancestry but speaks fluent English. Has done thousands(?) of game analysis for eras from Paul Morphy to current world Grand Master Magnus Carlsen. He was doing an interactive podcast when he got blocked by Youtube about an hour in. An immediate protest was almost immediately denied. Most likely an algorithm / bot, but an increasingly obvious hyper-sensitive Youtube habit.

Comedian Bill Maher has repeatedly said on his HBO show that he hopes the U.S. goes into a recession if it means that the Trump administration will suffer.

" The report reflects a current trend in the national law enforcement community that views the rise of domestic extremist groups, variously referred to as militia or anti-government extremists as well as sovereign citizens, as a significant threat to the safety of government officials, law enforcement and first responders. In fact, a recent survey conducted by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) at the University of Maryland found that law enforcement throughout the country identifies sovereign citizens as the top terrorist threat, greater even than the threat posed by Islamic extremists." This Christmas, could you please spare a thought for the truly unfortunate: D.C. political journalists deprived of holiday parties surrounded by members of the Trump Administration (whom they despise)? ===== This White House has enriched the press, but it also stopped throwing a Christmastime party for reporters. The White House correspondents’ dinner, which reporters from The New York Times do not attend, once boasted truly glamorous after-parties. Those have dried up in the Trump era.
